But seriously, have you read her articles? Have you spoken to her?

Sounds to me like she busted her ass this month. She did her best. She did the best anyone could expect of her. Did some things fall through? Yeah. But we've always been terribad at alliances. It's one of the things I have come to accept after immigrating here. Life goes on.

It seems to me, she did her best. Wild Owl & his folks did their best. Maybe, just maybe, we were not a first pick for Sirius. Maybe we were a pick only because they had Croatia and not Serbia, since we are idiots about always fighting Serbia.

PROTIP: Croatia/Serbia/Albania/Bosnia.Herzegovina/Montenegro are *ALL* awesome allies. They're all from the Balkans. They're all f*cking crazy. I have loved fighting alongside all of them. I would love, really love, for some outside power to try to hit all of them iRL. I bet they would rally and kick ass, kick ass on a level unprecedented in the history of the world. Because they are all awesome, and they are all f*cking crazy.

Anyway... ramble aside...

Molly did pretty damned good. Specifically, pretty damned good in a bad spot.

So you might say she was more focused on Domestic politics than International politics? Well, geez, what did you expect? You elected a Fed, after all. You get what you pay for. The Feds favor Domestic over International. This is what always happens. History, yo. The only exceptions prove the rule, as they stop being Feds if they favor the international game over the domestic game.

Anyway... like I implied. Vote Molly.

At best, let her prove her stance on Sirius accurate if we survive/prosper this month. At worst, let her defend her stance on Sirius if we get hit this month. I think we're going to come out ahead. I'll call it now. I have faith in Molly.

And we kept having serious military campaigns (not only guerilla stuff) against the Nazis for the entire duration of WW2, up until we chased them out and beyond. So, something like that wouldn't really be "unprecedented in the history" 😛

Not to burst your bubble but that's probably b/c the Nazis decided to focus on the new threat, the Americans. Also, Hitler forgot to read up on Napoleon and had a failed invasion of Russia. This made their forces so weak they abandoned the Easter Front. With the new powerful threat of the American forces from the West, the Nazis decided it was more important to focus most of their forces on the Western front.

However, it was great of Yugoslavia to PO the Nazis 😃

What does Yugoslavia have to do with the Eastern front? Also, do you have any idea when did the "new threat" join the war (in Europe)? Somehow mistaking first quartal of the war for the last one doesn't really make sense. FYI, D-day was in Summer '44. Besides, America joined the war in Europe mostly because they knew EU would be called SSSR if they didn't. Of course they were of big use and helped end the war quicker, but Stalin would have wiped the Nazis just the same, with or without US help.

Yugoslavia is part of the east, basically anything east and later south of Germany was considered the Eastern Front. the battle in France was the West. Also, the US joined the War near the end of '41. So it could correlate with your "liberation". The U.S. was involved in the invasions of Italy and Africa before hitting Normandy beach. D-Day was just the invasion of France and offensive against Germany.. The U.S. and Axis declared war on each other in '41. In the real world, armies don't mobilize in one hour. The Germans began to mass their military might in France and other occupied nations which took months of preparation.

About the Russians, I'd think that the Germans and Russians would have ended in stalemate. The Russians being less skilled but larger man power, Germans more skilled but less man power. I guess it's comparable to China vs. U.S., where China has more men and U.S. are more skilled but less troops.

I don't mean to sound like a know-it-all jerk, so I apologize in advance 🙂

Wellllll...... ya got me. Clearly, in my drunken rambling on the virtues of the region, I failed to actually read up on the history. Frankly, what I know of the region, I know from this game. I have read up on a few of the countries and the more recent conflicts/issues (since USA involvement in the 90s) out of curiosity since playing this game, but I don't know the history. I assumed it hadn't happened. My apologies.
