[eBE] Congress Update 09/10 2013

Greetings dear eBelgians,

it's time for a new article about our Congress.

Before I give you an overview of our work so far, let me present you the results of the last Congress Elections.

Congratulations to every elected Congress Member.

Now to the actual part of this article:

So far 6 laws have been voted, 1 is currently being voted on.

All the voted laws have been accepted and there were no unregularities during the voting process for all the said laws.

Elections:

Congress elected two new Supreme Court Justices:

MCKitkat
The Valeyard

Forum Masks:

The Congress Members also agreed on giving The Valeyard the Honorary Citizen Mask, due to his hard work for eBelgium.

The current Congress accepted several other laws, namely:

a law that adapts the supply of the Awesome Boot Camp (ABC) Military Unit, raising the amount of supplies and giving the Unit a small budget.

a law promoting Government Communication, which rewards certains comments with 50 BEF in order to raise the number of readers of government articles.

a law which gives the government the ability to use a certain budget for ingame-Events.

Currently Congress is voting a law rewarding active players and 2 Mutual Protections Pacts (MPP's) with Indonesia and Mexico.

I'd like to remind you that every single citizen of eBelgium is allowed to take part in the Debate Section of our forum.
You only need your citizen mask which you will receive by doing the following steps:

Introduce yourself in the Welcome Area.

Send Critically a message ingame that contains: your topic on the forum (if you're a new guy/girl), your forum name, and the question to add you as a citizen.

Then you can actively debate with the other citizens and have access to special Programs and to the FUN Area.

mabey you should also state that if i, tommot(other admin), see a welcome topic in the forum and i can confirm in-game citizenship, that i will most likely provide a citizen mask as well.

It is good that there are again Congress News Updates.
Maybe it would be good to include who took the initiative/wrote each legislation, so also non-forum visiting citizens would get some idea about the driving forces in congress.

Thanks for the update, MCKitkat. It's great to see this paper revived to give information to our citizens again (and btw, don't forget that this is a government article and can get you a reward if you comment).
