[eBe] Congress Report, May, Week 2

Well, another week has past and the Congress you elected is here to present to you what we have done during this week in regards to your future and that of this country. It was a very busy week with not so many subject to debate but with some debates that gave us a lot of work.

Some of the previous debates from the last article are now closed and I would like to begin by telling you what were the decisions or the result of the votes.

Last week we were voting for adding a new administrator on the forum, because those that there are there to serve us, are a little bit to busy to do the job.The candidates were : Medrolke 2, Viridi, Jofroi and Shadowukcs. The result of the voting process is :

Medrolke 2 (Yes: 9, No: 0, Abstain: 5)

Viridi (Yes: 2, No: 5, Abstain: 7)

Jofroi(Yes: 13, No: 1, Abstain:0)

Shadowukcs (Yes: 2, No: 7, Abstain: 6)

That makes Jofroi the new Administrator of the forum http://www.erepbelgium.com.

Another vote that was still open last week was the one for electing a new judge. The candidates were : Helviro, MCKitkat and Kylero. The rusult were :

Helviro🙁Yes: 16, No: 2, Abstain: 5)

Kylero(Yes: 4, No: 6 Abstain: 13)

MCKitkat(Yes:16, No: 1, Abstain: 6)

As the vote process end up with an apparent equality between Helviro and MCKitkat, the Chairman of Congress has canceled the vote of Beaver_Juice as his vote was not eligible because he tried to vote using a middle man. He did that because although he asked his mask he didn`t receive in time to vote. The Supreme Court advice will be asked to have a more precise idea for the next time it will occur. However, this time, MCKitkat will probably stay Minister of Education & Helviro become Judge, to permit people to start working, Beaver Juice took part in this direction.

On the debate called Legal reform committee , opened by NicknameFromRonny, there are still some debates about it as the discussion slipped into a personal fight between some of the honorable CMs. Well, you have to know the truth : in order to get to the best decision , sometimes we fight , but in the end we are all getting along. I hope, next time I will bring good news about this debate.

Another interesting debate is about using of a form in the CS application procedure. This debate was opened by Beaver Juice, our CP, along with Zangetsu-Osan, the Secretary of Immigration. They have created this form : http://bit.ly/ZMK1q6. They have also bring a package of advantage that this form will bring :

- When someone ask the CS in game, even if no IO is connected, a CM or someone of the gov is able to send the link to the form to the player. It permit to have answers more fast and then avoid sometimes long discussions without content or ideas of the motivations of a player;

- The big cases are an incitation to write more than in an in-game PM. Lots of space is available for a long & elaborate answer;

- It's also more easy to share in game. For example, on the profile of the members of the Governement or the CM;

- It doesn't modify the Congress advice part of the process;

- It permit to see in a tab fulfill automatically if, on a certain period, we have too much players coming from the same State, MU, etc;

- It makes the job of the IO easier. ``

The idea was very good welcomed and in the next future we will implement this new way to make contact with the citizens willing to move in our beautiful country.

On the daily task we also have a debate concerning signing some MPP with different country`s . First we have a proposal of a MPP from the CP of Poland. After Beaver Juice contacted the CP of Poland concerning this proposal we agree that this is not the best time to sign this MPP with them. You have here , in the next lines , a message from forum that Beaver Juice posted for our peace of mind :

``As it's the main opinion here, you can vote no, without offending Poland.

I contacted their CP on IRC and he said that you can just vote NO if it's not a good timing for us now, that we can not pay too much MPP. He said "we do not take this as an affront. We can sign this mpp in future if needed. ``

The other MPP in discussion is the one that will soon expire, the one with Macedonia. Is it still under the debate but the balance is tilted to a general yes for this MPP.

There are also in discussion some othere MPP wth other country`s but , about this one`s next week , as there is no rush about it and we are still discussing.

The last debate that was opened this week is opened by me, Nihil.sine.deo and is about the department that I am in charge of : Secretary of Demography. I have opened this debate because I have some ideas about how to implement this new department in the government of eBelgium and I need some funding. When someone needs money in his department is no like he just ask it and he shortly receive them. We have to decide if is truly necessary and if this will actually work. I can not tell you more about this debate as I want this to be a surprise for you all and also I need to polish this idea forward with my colleagues.

Well , as you see, there was a lot to do this week too, but we enjoy every minute of this opportunity that you guys give to us and we are trying our best to bring what we think that is the best choice for the future of this nation. We hope that you are satisfied with what we are doing but if you are not, or you have any suggestion, well , this will be a great time to say something. If you gonna just tell it in the election day, it will be too late for us to change anything. So, make courage, and step up for you right : tell us what is what you want us to do .
