[1.1] The Treaty of Mayo is an agreement that both Ireland and Macedonia are bound to and should not be broken without prior consultation.
[1.2] The Treaty of Mayo is to be respected by both Governments and the people of each nation. Citizens should never be advised to break the agreement.
[2.1] The Treaty of Mayo allows Macedonia to rent the Irish region of Mayo for the foreseeable future.
[2.2] The Treaty of Mayo allows Macedonia permanent rental of the region of Mayo free of charge. However, the terms of the Treaty of Mayo are negotiable between each nations newly appointed Governments.
[2.3] Under the Treaty of Mayo, Macedonia must return all revenue that they generate from Irish taxes through the occupation of Mayo.
[2.4] Both Ireland and Macedonia must respect each nation's sovereignty on the island of Ireland and attack any intruder that threatens this sovereignty.(1)

Hail the alliance where one ally must sell its own region to get some help from another ally.....
I thought alliances are here to help each other, not buying and selling favours.
And it seems in this case IReland is the only in this Hail Aurora alliance who must pay for help from other Hail Aurora members.
If macedonia had no region left that would be a cool agreement but they have regions...so why not exchange for one of theirs?
Macedonia have been without congress more months than I care to count, they have been completely oppressed by Greece as have your friends in Saudi Arabia.
Ireland is welcome to helping any friendly nation in obtaining congress as we have tried to help South Korea before and now we help Macedonia.
Macedonia didn't have any intention in holding onto an Irish region, we offered it to them in solidarity. If you want a screenshot of this I will happily provide.
If true this would be a fair deal.
An act of kindness is welcomed by Clerics....
But you are Orcs and you could be simply selling region once again.
And since now there are two totally opposite possibilities i will wait until time unfold this mystery before start praising or bitching...

Being that I've barely seven breaths in Éire yet again I'll say hmmmph.

No, seriously, what does exception of Canada mean? If Canada attacks Ireland - we cannot defend it? Why?
I assume it means if Canada attacks Macedonia while they're holidaying in Ireland.
Canada will never attack Ireland
Ireland will attack Canada...with love...
Basically Gjurgja, it means that eCanada is our sister nation.
She's fallen in with a bad crowd since her tiff with eUSA, doing some stupid things. But she's family and we refuse to give-up on her.
Most of us are really excited about eMacedonia being here. Think it could make things much more interesting. But coming to some sort of agreement with eCanada would do eMac no harm.
Understand that eIreland will only set foot on an eCanadian region by invitation. eCanada will only set foot on an eIrish region by invitation. We're not entirely sure where eMacedonian regions on Ireland stand in this situation.

I am happy that this treaty is laid out in public for all to see. I have a few questions though:
1. In describing the rental of Mayo Point 2.1 uses the phrase "foreseeable future" whilst Point 2.2 uses the word "permanent". Which is it, foreseeable future or permanent?
2. Point 2.2 states that the terms of the Treaty are negotiable between each nations newly appointed Governments. Does this mean that a new Irish Government can say we want Mayo back now and Macedonia will give it back straight away without any ill feeling?
3. This is a few questions under the same heading. I am uncertain as to the meaning of Point 2.4 - (1) Exception of Canada. Does it mean if Canada attacks us then Macedonia does not have to help us? Does it mean if Canada attacks Macedonia we do not have to help Macedonia? Does it mean that if Canada attack anyone on the island of Ireland that none of us even defend ourselves? I know that the last question seems stupid, but it serves to indicate how vague this Point 2.4 with Exception (1) is
4. Point 2.4 mentions specifically "each nation's sovereignty" and the "island of Ireland". Does this mean that both Macedonia and Ireland recognise Britain's sovereignty over Northern Ireland, and if anyone attacks Northern Ireland we will help Britain defend Northern Ireland?
Good questions.
1. The Treaty is permanent but keeping it in place isn't entirely within our abilities. Therefore it is only permanent into the foreseeable future.
2. Exactly, this Treaty is open to negotiations or cancellation between each respective Government. It is to be held in place unless a new administration comes in and wishes to disregard it.
3. Ireland and Canada despite being in opposing alliances regard each other as Brothers. Therefore if Macedonia and Canada get into a dispute, Ireland does not wish to get officially involved as it would affect our relationship with one nation. Canada is no threat to Ireland.
4. Under this game Northern Ireland is a British region and now they are one of our greatest allies who have aided us twice in recent months now. Despite my personal feelings from real life we shouldn't let the issue of Northern Ireland come between our friendship. I personally will always regard Northern Ireland as an Irish region but I do not see it in this game as that important of a factor.
