[CP Update] Ongoing affairs

Day 2,555, 11:12 Published in Ireland Ireland by Ian Arb

Good evening citizens,

Our government has been working behind the scenes and I guess it’s time for an update!

Finance

Firstly, we’ve received the cash from Loouman and this was a lot less than our MoF, Nogin has expected to receive since Appleman was replaced as governor. However we’ve made steps to minimise the burden by identifying ways to sustain the Irish Army Commune bill which should keep us in a steady cash flow for now.

However we are still having issues retrieving some of the organisation emails and passwords. I’ve sent in a ticket to the admins a few days ago and they apparently “assigned” to those responsible. In my opinion I think the message was quite clear as “I don’t care.”. But don’t worry I’ll keep hassling them till they give in 😉

National Strike

Irish Army hosted another national strike on Sunday assisting Bulgaria against Romania. Although we couldn’t produce screenshots as the new battlefield feature had a glitch which is not surprising 😛 We have seen a number of old faces turning up who haven’t been IRC’ing for a number of months or years! That’s good to see and hopefully more of the same.

We will be going again next week and keep an eye out for shouts and articles.

Immigration

We’ve received a proposal from a Italian MU, Legione. They are searching for a new country and has chosen Ireland as their preferred destination. We are currently undergoing background checks and gathering more information. There is currently 15 strong soldiers which would be a huge boost to our military strength. Our Congress will be informed in the coming days of the progress being made.

Thanks for reading!

Ian, your Country President
