[CP] Let's Get To Work!
Rathena Gelc
Now, let's get to work.
The cabinet has already started working. We have negotiations with the French taking place and that should be finished within a few days. I can already tell you we maybe will have to accept some tough terms, but if we have to choose between two evils, we'll choose the lesser one.
I have instructed the MoE team to begin working on restarting the mentors and ambassadors programme so we can raise activity and help newbies. We will also be working on incentives for top fighters.
As with any new government, we have a budget decision coming up and we are currently shaping it up. It will probably be somewhat smaller this month because of our financial situation, but we will try to get the most of it.
Today, I am holding my first PMQs session! It will happen on the IRC, on the #massdebate channel. I expect we will start it when the referendum act debate is finished - so around 10 PM tonight. Please, if you can, make sure to participate in both debates! I'm looking forward to your questions and suggestions.
Thanks all - and here's to a good month.

I thought it was the frogs that wave white flags, not us?.
We will not be waving the white flag.
So we will carry on fighting them then?
All options are currently open and they will be subject to public scrutiny when we can outline them correctly.
Answered as a true politician (This isn't a compliment 😃 )
It's an honest answer. We'll inform everyone of any agreement and let the people choose.
You plan to bend over to the french?
The french are known for their sexual nature
No. Any prospective agreement will be visible to the public and will have to pass Parliament's approval.
Parliament will pass any old rubbish.
So basically yes.
No, it won't if it deems the proposed negotiations are not benefiting the UK. Besides, I will publicly release it for an open debate so other players can comment on it too.
First of all congrats on win for CP.Secondly I am not going to criticised at the begining of your term as many criticised me when I was CP just at the begining and all the way.Your plan is good and it has some thoughtfull guidelines, just don"t make any exceptions towards frenchies because they using double standards if you know what I"ve mean.Concerning ambassadorial program that should lead MoFA not MoE.Other stuff in your articles are just fine and on their places
.
Also your sentence "I can tell you already,we will accept tough terms",what kind of terms they have when they occupied us already and they are doing what they want.A piece of advice don"t be too liniant to the frenchies, they can trick you just like that,a blink of an eye,
Very readable and informative article Rathena, good luck and make your term be successfull. o7
PMQs and debates out of game? So excluding everyone that doesn't want to or can't use IRC for whatever reason. Good start!!
referendum debate is taking part on IRC and ingame article, players are free to participate in whichever they choose
You are always free to contact me or the government. The reason PMQs are done on IRC is because it is faster, easier and offers a chance to discuss and debate in real time.
It also means you have no one outside your cosy little circle to ask anything awkward
No, it doesn't. Literally anyone can join PMQs and ask me whatever they want. I got a question yesterday about my cup size, for example.
Also, just ask the Speaker to ask any question you might have. Follow-up questions may not be possible if you're not there, but it gives an opportunity.
"questions may not be possible if you're not there,"
Thank you for confirming things.
Speaker? I looked in the "My Country" pages and can't find a "Speaker" obviously nothing to do with this game
Follow-up questions, sir. Follow-up questions. Just because a title doesn't exist in game, doesn't mean we cannot create it. The current Speaker of Parliament is FightandProduce. You can contact him if you want to ask me a question in the next PMQs or just join IRC and ask me in person.
And how many people debate on IRC, 5? 6?
As long as IRC is not the main thing for debates and making decisions, you can do there whatever you want, I don't care personally.
It isn't the main channel for debating, of course. I just like doing PMQs on it because it offers real-time communication and debate.
Best of luck, Madame President. I wish you and your cabinet a very successful term! Hail eUK! o7
