[Aust CP] Update Day 3,169

Day 3,169, 01:31 Published in Australia Australia by Aus Prime Minister Office

Happy Sunday eAustralia,

A lot of the different ministerial departments have been releasing updates though out the week and I hope they have kept you informed about the happenings in eAustralia.

So today will be another brief update on events happening in Australia...

Indonesian Training War

The eAustralian and eIndonesian training war is progressing as planned. Shortly it will come to an end, but before it ends, eAustralia will take control of Java as per the Region Rent agreement.

This will enable people who own Holding Companies here in Australia, to reap the benefits of the high bonuses. And hopefully an added effect will be a better tax income for Australia which can be re-invested into our homeland.

New Zealand Training War

The eAustralian / eNew Zealand training war has slow down a bit, but it is still on going. Once the training war with eIndonesia is finished, we will move back to full throttle with the eAustralian / eNew Zealand training war.

The Australian government would like to thank the eNew Zealand government for their patience and understanding about our dual training wars.

Aircraft

Plato's latest update took place a few days ago and we have seen aircraft being introduced to the battle field. While these are only Q1 aircraft so far, over time they will be increased to cover all levels.

This change will be felt in two main areas, the battle field and the economy section.

With in the military aspect, apart from the greater point award for damage done during the Aircraft Rounds (every 4th round), Plato has been issuing nice new shiny medals with the first 10 in the eWorld and the first 10 in each country.

The points section has been covered in many articles already, but if you click here you can see what the headless chickens wrote about.

With the addition of the new industry, comes the ability to tax the sale of the aircraft and also aircraft raw materials. While it is still early stages to the industry, the DoF will be trying to track the tax changes, so they can look at a perfect tax that is viable for the producers as well as the government. This is hard to do with the different wars happening, but it is also made harder when tax changes are proposed with out articles or consultations.

Before the end of the term, the government will be looking at the figures it has, and it might propose a temp tax to see how things work out and/or choose to hold the taxes as they are to gain more data. This includes both the selling of the aircraft and taxing of the raw materials.

Congress Voting

Congress nominations have just closed and your Party Presidents will be soon selecting the running order of their nominations. When you go to the voting booths tomorrow, think about who is on the ticket and if they will serve eAustralia to the best of their ability.

That is all for now, but please stay tuned to your media for further updates and also feel free to ask questions, should any come up.
