Battles to come
Everyone should take advantage of the coming war to gain experience and wellness. Here are some tips:
1) Buy only Q1 food. You can get your wellness boost from the hospitals.
2) Move to Gauteng if you can afford it since it has the best hospital.
3) Fight even if you don't have any weapons.
4) If your regions has a Q2 hospital then fight twice, Q4 fight 4 times.
5) If you are low on health fight 1 less than the quality of your hospital. That way when you heal at the hospital you will gain 10 more health than what you lost because of fighting.
I might be stuck in Indonesia for a while (got a job and I don't know if I can get myself fired). If you need good quality, fairly cheap weapons then just send me the money and I will buy them for you here. Please check that I am still in Indonesia before sending though. read more
Baby Boom
I haven't published anything in a while. Mostly because I barely have enough time to work, train and manage my companies with little left over to be really involved in the community.
There is however something that I have noticed in the last week or so.
For many weeks now our population has been fairly stable at around 500 citizens, or just under but in the last week our population has sky rocketed to what is now a little of 620 citizens.
At first I was concerned that someone was moving in to try and take over again but given that we have almost nothing left I think that unlikely. Most of the growth appears to be new players who hopefully will stick around long enough to discover the interesting parts of this game.
The effect these new citizens could have on our economy is significant. Already my company's have some additional employees and could be enjoying an increase in production once they get up to speed. I hope that many more of the new citizens will choose to work in non-diamond companies.
To the baby boomers, welcome! I hope you enjoy your stay and will help us make this a far, far, better country to live in. read more

A New Begining
None were more surprised than I when FA and myself won the presidential elections but I would like to sincerely thank all those that voted for us and we promise to do our best not to let you down. Together let us make this nation great.
OCC I have had family over for the weekend so this announcement has come later than I would have liked. I apologize for that.
Here is my proposed cabinet and their some of responsibilities. I would ask that they all post official acceptance here.
Deputy President and Minister of Foreign Affairs: Deus Ex
Will be responsible for negotiating MPP's and stearing our nation threw these turbulent times in the international arena. His many contacts in the international community will help him considerably in this position.
Minister of Finance: Hireshmont Vellos
Responsible for setting monetary policy threw the Reserve Bank, and formulating strategies to get us out of the less than favorable position we find ourselves in with regards to food and housing. The best financial mind that I know of in the country.
Minister of Defense: Rico Suave
Will be responsible for organizing our Army and co-ordinating their efforts in times of war. Will also need to liase with the Minister of Finance and Minister of Health to insure out troops are well supplied and kept healthy during battle.
Minister of Health: Ethaya
Responsible for instituting a national health program with particular focus on new players and our troops during war time.
Minister of Education: ERDWURM
Will be responsible for helping out new players and teaching them the basics of the game as well as encouraging them to become involved on our national forum.
If any citizens have suggestions in any of these area's or would like to help, please contact the appropriate ministers. The can not think of everything and can't be online constantly so I am sure they would appreciate your input.
Let us shake of the shackles of past oppression and create a new begining, together working for a better South Africa.

A final word
It has been an interesting last day or two before the elections. It is unfortunate that some have marred what should have been our first free and fair elections in quite some time.
I would like that thank all those that have supported Free Africa and myself, and defended out right to stand in the elections, even if they have no intention of voting for us. True democarcy lies in each and everyone being able to express their opinion and have it heard. Again I thank you for this.
To my fellow party members, who have been behind me 100%. Who supported me even when I offered to step down if they thought my leaving would be in the best interest of the party, you have more than my gratitude. Come what may, we will continue to work in the best interests of our country and for the betterment of all it's citizens lives and we will do so as more than just a party, but as an e-family.
We at Free Africa remain convinced that a free market economy with limited government involvement is the best course. Each and every citizen deserves the right to decide the fate of their company or career and if we all work together, with our long term best interests at heart, we can make this country great.
Together we can do that and so, so much more.
What ever has happen, and whoever the victor will be, we at Free Africa wish all candidates the best of luck. read more
