New World Cup Final is, as the name suggests, a final for the winners of the New World Cup: Argentina, Chile, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Serbia and Turkey. However, the tournament will also include a Global competition for all countries, regardless of being in the final or not.
- The tournament will start on Day 2,422 and last until the end of Day 2,428
- Each citizen can fight to reach and even surpass damage targets, which are calculated based on their current military skills, and presented as percentages
- Each country has its own target milestones based on its military capability
- Citizens can see their progress, along with the progress of their citizenship country, on the homepage
- Citizens and countries are rewarded based on their performance
Please note that:
- Citizens will represent the country they are a citizen of on Day 2,421 23:59 eRepublik time. Any later citizenship changes will not count for the tournament.
- Damage done with regular weapons and in Guerrilla Fights will count normally
- However, damage done with Bazookas, Bombs or Rockets will NOT count for the tournament
The 9 finalists will take part in a separate competition that will have it’s own ranking. They can win special prizes as follows:
- First place: 150,000 Gold Mine
- Second place: 75,000 Gold Mine
- Third place: 50,000 Gold Mine
If a finalist manages to get to Top 5 in the Global competition, their Gold Mine prize will be doubled.
- Every country has a citizen ranking based on citizens’ performance in reaching their targets
- Citizens are divided into 2 groups: young citizens (level 1-34) and more experienced citizens (level 35+). Citizen levelling up to another group in the middle of the tournament won’t have any effect, as he will remain in the original group.
- Country rankings is based on countries’ performance in reaching their targets
- The rankings are updated every 20 minutes
- If a citizen is permanently banned during the tournament, the damage is removed from all rankings
- Player A has a target of 100 000 damage and does 500 000 damage; Percentage in the rankings: 500%
- Player B has a target of 500 000 damage and does 1 000 000 damage; Percentage in the rankings: 200%
- Player A will be above Player B in the rankings, despite the fact that Player B did more damage
- The example can also be applied to country rankings
- Top 3 citizens in every country (level 1-34)
- Top 50 citizens in every country (level 1-34)
- Top 3 citizens in every country (level 35+)
- Top 50 citizens in every country (level 35+)
Players will also be rewarded when reaching certain targets:
- 100% -> 25 Strength
- 110 % -> 10 Gold
- 125% -> 10 Energy Bars
- 150% -> +50% Damage Booster for 2 hours
- 200% -> 30 Energy Bars
- 300 % -> Rank Points (doubles the Rank Points gained in the Tournament so far)
- 500% -> +50% Damage Booster for 2 hours
- 750% -> 50 Energy Bars
- 1 000% -> 30 Gold
- 1 500% -> +100 Energy Center for 30 days
- 2 000% -> 60 Energy Bars
- 2 500% -> +50% Damage Booster for 2 hours
- 3 000% -> 70 Energy Bars
- 4 000% -> 80 Energy Bars
- 5 000% -> 60 Gold
- 6 000% -> 100 Energy Bars
- For every 1 000% more -> 100 Energy Bars
Countries will be rewarded when reaching and surpassing targets:
- 100% -> 200 Gold
- 110% -> 75 Gold
- 125% -> 100 Gold
- 150% -> 125 Gold
- 200% -> 150 Gold
- 300% -> 175 Gold
- 500% -> 200 Gold
- 750% -> 250 Gold

- The Gold rewards will be added to the country treasuries when reaching the target.
At the end of the tournament, every country will also get a Defence Shield based on its position in the rankings:
- Positions 1 - 5: Quality 7 Defence Shield (10 billion damage)
- Positions 6 - 10: Quality 6 Defence Shield (8 billion damage)
- Positions 11 - 20: Quality 5 Defence Shield (6 billion damage)
- Positions 21 - 30: Quality 4 Defence Shield (4 billion damage)
- Positions 31 - 40: Quality 3 Defence Shield (3 billion damage)
- Positions 41 - 50: Quality 2 Defence Shield (2 billion damage)
- Positions 51+: Quality 1 Defence Shield (1 billion damage)
Furthermore, Top 3 Countries will also receive an Economical boost for their production of weapons, food and raw materials:
- 1st position: 60% Productivity bonus for 7 days
- 2nd position: 40% Productivity bonus for 7 days
- 3rd position: 20% Productivity bonus for 7 days
All the Rounds started today will be under the the 1st of April Troll Spell. Each Citizen will have to let go for a day to his Strength and Division and enjoy a day of randomness.
All the Citizens will have a strength of 100, 200, 300 or 400 that varies for each Battle. The strength will be consistent throughout the duration of the Battle.
All the Citizens will be assigned randomly to a Division, for each Battle. The Division will be consistent throughout the duration of the Battle.
Battles will randomly go Epic for 5 minutes.
No Experience Points will be awarded for fighting, and Bazookas and Bombs cannot be used throughout the day. (Bombs expiring today will have their validity extended to 24 hours.)
Gold from Battle Hero Medals will be multiplied by a random number for each Battle (from 1 to 4) and Campaign Hero Medals will award 3 x Battle Hero Gold.

In a persistent game universe, the sooner a player joins the better their chances to perform are. The junior Citizens have to work hard to make up for the time passed. Unfortunately, after 8 years the gaps are becoming quite impossible to close.
With that in mind, we are announcing today the Ghost Booster!
Starting Day 3,046 Citizens will receive one Ghost Booster per day after completing the Daily Tasks. When activated, the Ghost Booster gives you 30% of the biggest damage/hit of the Citizen who fights in the same Battle, Round, side and Division as you.
a) If in Round 1 of a Battle there fight 10 Citizens and the Citizen with the biggest damage/hit is Citizen A who makes 1,000 damage/hit, when you activate the Ghost Booster you will make 300 damage/hit + the regular damage/hit you have.
b) Citizen A hits 18,000 damage/hit with Q6 Weapons and 100% booster. Citizen B hits 2,000 per hit. Max hit = 9,000 (100% Booster not taken into account). With the Ghost Booster active, Citizen A will hit for 18,000 + 2,700 = 20,700, and Citizen B will hit for 2,000 + 2,700 = 4,700.
Each Ghost Booster lasts for 1 minute. The Ghost Boosters can be stored and have no expiry date.
Please note that:
- You will not be able to activate the Ghost Booster in a battle on your Citizenship Country’s side.
- You may activate the Ghost Booster only if you are located in one of the countries involved (you cannot activate via Mutual Protection Pact)
- Damage Boosters and Bazooka Boosters do not influence the max hit in a round, nor do they increase the Ghost Booster’s damage bonus
- Big/Small Bombs will not count for the bonus

The Currency involved in the scam was returned to the victims and the offender has been permanently banned. This year we have decided to be rather peaceful and pink and give you the tools to Make Love, Not War.
On Day 3,008, while the world is celebrating Valentine’s Day, you will be able to find love on the battlefield. Plato installed a big Heart button on each battlefield that will enable you to share the love. Once you press it, love will spread all over the battle and each Citizen’s damage will be reduced by 50% for the duration of the love rain. (The damage dealt by bombs will not be affected).
Please note that the spell is active for 1 minute, affects all the divisions, costs 1 000 currency and that everybody will be able to see who is the one spreading the love.

Day 3,000 is here and we expect you to make a historical day out of it. The magical number 3 can be both a blessing and a curse, but it’s up to you to decide how you take it.

Also, today only, a bigger bonus for the Loyalty Points (30 x the normal bonus) will be awarded for every purchase. However it won't affect the actual progress for the Loyalty Program. And as you have already noticed, today you get 30 x Gold on each Campaign Hero won both on the winning and losing side and 9 x Gold on each Battle Hero you get on the winning side. For the Battle Hero won on the losing side no Gold will be awarded, but you get only the achievement.

We hope you’re in for some challenges, for the Weekly Challenge brings big league prizes for the ones determined to stand out in the crowd.
Starting Day 2,989 until Day 2,996 you will have the possibility to enrich your Vehicle Depot with the brand new electrifying Mjolnir Tank.
Between Day 2,989 until Day 2,996 you will have the possibility to bonus up your Damage with the Weekly Challenge's Tank Damage Boosters.
Advancing in the Weekly Challenge we will reward you with special 100% Tank Damage Boosters for 2 or 8 hours that have a validity of 14 days starting Day 2,989. After that date, the unused Boosters will be converted into regular Damage Boosters.
What do the Damage Boosters have anything to do with tanks?
The boosters can be activated individually and provide extra damage in battles. They can be activated together with regular Damage Boosters allowing you to wreak havoc on the battlefield.
If activated on top of regular Damage Boosters, the extra gain will add to the regular booster (activating a 50% Damage Booster together with the 100% Tank Booster will add 150% to your base damage, and together with a 100% Damage Booster you will get a 200% increase).
For those of you who already got some special tanks in your Garage, if you use one of them on the battlefield (either the Red Baron or the Monster Grinder) while the booster is active the value of its boost will grow from 100% to 150%.
And once you add the Mjolnir Tank to your collection, using it will make the tank boosters even more valuable as they will give a whooping 200% boost. And you can always activate normal boosters to get up to 300% damage increase.
Using a regular vehicle, no regular Damage Booster active: 100% boost
Using a regular vehicle, 50% regular Damage Booster active: 150% boost
Using a regular vehicle, 100% regular Damage Booster active: 200% boost
Using the Red Baron or the Monster Grinder, no regular Damage Booster active: 150% boost

We hope you are in good shape after the Winter Holidays, for this weekend you will need your military skills to organize a strong army capable of hunting down the rewarding objectives.
The mechanics of deploying and destroying an objective are the same as you been accustomed to so far, but you can read more about the 10 equal time windows in the Objectives Rush rules. If you fail to destroy one objective 3 times within one time frame, the next time you try again will begin with the same objective level as the one which you failed to destroy, meaning that you cannot skip any objective level.
The event starts on Day 2,979 at Day Change and it lasts until Day 2,981 at Day Change.
If you were wondering what these Objectives could bring you, then you’d better have some Energy stored, for we can help you with Damage Boosters for the whole Regiment!
For every destroyed objective, the Regiment will get a Damage Booster that will increase the damage of all the soldiers in the Regiment with 50%. The Damage Booster gets activated the moment the objective is destroyed and lasts for 24 hours.
Each destroyed objective will extend the validity of the Regiment’s Damage Booster with 24 hours. (Destroying 10 objectives will result in 10 days of Damage Booster for the Regiment).
If the player activates a regular Damage Booster while a Regiment Booster is active, the 2 boosts will add (i.e: If the player activates a 50% Damage Booster, the total boost value will be 100%. If the player activates a 100% Damage Booster, the total boost will be 150).
The Regiment’s Damage Booster will be available to any member of the Regiment, no matter if they helped bringing down the objective, if they were eligible to contribute for the Regiment during this event, or if they joined the Regiment after the event. Players leaving the Regiment will not benefit from the Booster even if they contributed to the destruction of the objectives (but they can always come back to the Regiment where the Booster is active).
Please keep in mind that only members of the Regiment at the beginning of the day are able to help their Regiment bring down objectives and that the number of enemies defeated, not the damage, counts to the destroyal of the objective.

The New Year has brought significant changes in the eWorld!
Starting Day 2,979 the election validation will be extended to 24 hours. This means that on Day 2,979, at Day Change, the election validation starts and it lasts until Day 2,980 at Day Change.
During these 24 hours the votes will be displayed and updated according to the checks made.
Throughout the election check period the old Presidents, Congress members or Party Presidents keep their seats. The alerts and rewards will be sent to the winners at 00:00 eRepublik time when the checking period is over and the new Presidents/Congress members/Party Presidents will step into office.

Earned with great effort during memorable events, your tanks will now be parked in a special Vehicle Depot. On the right side of the battle page you will be able to see both the tank skins you have gained and those that are not available to you.
If you don’t want to use any of the tank skins available to you, you can return to the default tank skin corresponding to your Division.
Starting today you will have the possibility to enjoy the Vehicle Depot and manage your war machines.
P.S. We would like to inform you that non-adult citizens are no longer allowed to start Resistance Wars.
