Starting Wednesday (November 26, 2008) we have introduced a new feature.
If a country remains without any job offers between skill 0 and 1 on the Human Resources market, the President and the members of congress will receive a private message to be announced about this issue.

Starting Tuesday (December 2, 2008) we have implemented more levels of experience points. For example if you have 250 points, now you have level 15.For further details of every level of experience and gold received at some levels you should check this link:

Starting 9th of December (Tuesday) Super Soldier achievements will be awarded for the citizen that have reached strength level 5 and/or 10 once they have trained for that day.

Starting 10th of December (Wednesday) , a new module will be online: "Suggest Trivia Questions". Further details will be given this week in an "Insider" article.

Also, we have implemented these changes:

- In order to be a general manager, citizens have to be former employees with at least one day worked.

- In order to receive the ‘Super soldier’ achievement, citizens have to be  military trained as soldiers and to have fought at least once.

- In order to start a Resistance war, citizens also have to be  military trained as soldiers and to have fought at least once.

- In order to create a party, citizens have to be former party members.

Today (December 16, 2008) we have fixed some issue at the war module:
- Now when a region is conquered, you can see in the battle page how much GOLD the winner country has taken from the country that lost that region

Starting tomorrow, (December 19th, 2008) as a special holiday gift from the eRepublik Team, we will double all the Citizens/Organizations inventory capacity (from 10 slots to 20 slots).
Also the Citizens/Organizations that have an active extra storage package, the limit of this package will be extended with one month
This update is a permanent one.

Chile will be the 46th country of the New World. On the 14th of January it will join the other three South American countries in eRepublik: Argentina, Brazil and Venezuela. Post here any questions or suggestions.

a more comprehensive set of eRepublik Laws will be presented in an Insider article.

The New eRepublik Laws will be applied starting the same day and will completely substitute the Beta set of laws.This improvement will also introduce the use of Forfeit Points (FP).
A quantum of Forfeit Points (FP) will be associated with every Warning or Temporary Ban.
In time, having a civilized behavior will absolve the received Forfeit Points.
However, stocking a certain amount will lead to a Permanent Ban.

Starting on 28th of January - 02:00 eRepublik time,
“Alliance” will be the term used instead of “MPP”.

Alliances will become active when an allied country is attacked in a region where a resistance war is impossible to start.
Not anymore when another country declares war to the allied country.
Once the alliance become active the allied countries can fight during all the war not only defending their regions, but also attacking enemy regions.
This rule will be applied in any conquest war, as well as in wars started due to other alliances. Citizens can fight in their country, as well as in the allied countries even if there are opened battles in their country.
Still, Presidents won't be able to attack other regions if their country is under attack.
Every citizen will be allowed to acquire a maximum of 20 wellness packs per eRepublik day.
