One is intentional, the other is natural. There is a canyon's worth of difference between the two.

The one similarity between the RL USA and eUSA is that everyone wants to be a critic. If eUSA was really powerless and insignificant, why do its enemies:

1) Take such glee in attacking it and devastating its economy and societal structures ?
2) Love to slander and belittle its leaders ?
3) Show bad faith in any and all dealings with the eUSA ?
4) Manipulate its government and citizens for their own selfish and cynical ends ?
5) Set up phoney companies in the eUSA for the purpose of reduction its citizens to poverty and hunger ?

Yes, living in the eUSA is like dealing with the popular clique in the worst school you ever attended -so what keeps you from blooming where you were planted, and working to build your own little group of friends ? It is a free country, and there are 48 states to live in and be ignored.
