Yes, we can - Vreath's candidature for CP

Dear inhabitants of eAustria, my comrades:

Today I am writing to you to announce my candidacy for the seat of eAustria's Country President. And what comes with an announcement to run for the highest political position in this small, proud and lovely country?


A manifesto

You are the ones who are going to carry me into this position, hopefully, as I have already shown my competence and skills in leading my homecountry once; yes, you are right, Vreath is one the rare specimens of the class 'Real Life Austrians' and who can lead a country better than a man who was born, raised up, fed and fought on the fronts against the Osmanic Empire (ok, now im exaggerating, but you understand what I want to say) than a man who lives in this country and does nothing but the best for his country and yes, I was once president of this lovely country and under my regency, we managed to build the basis for a growing Austria, not only in the ecological meaning, but also in the military and demographic sense.



As you can see, I am running as the head candidate of the Austrian Socialist Movement (ASM), a party, which set the inhabitants of this country, the workers and contributers to this country, in the 'social spotlight'. The government should not try to make more profit on the cost of its workers, therefore I am reconsidering to lower some taxes to increase the wealth of the proletariat, secondly I am planning to reconsider the way of distributing tanks to regular fighters in the Austrian Armed Forces, more to come in the main part of the manifesto.

Now we are approaching to my manifesto, and my plans for the coming government:

The Glass Government


In the last cabinet, many eAustrians have been witness of an isolated government, though it was elected by the people and the people have a rightful demand to know what is being done with their money (in this case, taxes) and what they are planning to work out for eAustria. Therefore I am introducing the glass government, more or less, a transparent government. But how should we achieve that? - Simple:

The Ministry of Finances will publish regular bilances of tax income, general income of donations and congress tax and general expenses for the military, mentor programme and similiar. This is to be naturally done by the Minister of Finances but can also be edited by the Vice-Minister of Finances.

The Ministry of Community will have the right to inform the public via BundesPresseDienst (and NOT via the own newspaper of the Country President, like it happened too often under the regency of AEmmerich) of the actions/discussions/plans going on in the cabinet. Secondly, the MoC has to increase the community feeling in eAustria with regular contests, jokes, awards or similiar. More detailled information is coming soon.

The Ministry of Defense will also publish regular bilances on how many tanks have been spent, with a seperated column: How many tanks have been spent for mercenaries? And how many tanks have been spent for the people of eAustria? And how can we increase the efficiency of the supply system → spending less tanks, but having more damage? That are some of the essential duties the Minister of Defense will have to follow.

The New Democracy


Currently it seems that the only real elections in eAustria are the main ones: Congress, President and Party President (won't mention Captain elections in the MU here because that is another thing) but why cannot eAustria charge in phalanx to be one of the most democratic countries in this eWorld? It is the people, the inhabitants of eAustria for whom the government is working and not for themselves - to be in the spotlight for one month, retreat after the legislature is over and claim: 'We did a good job didn't we?' - but, where was the democracy?

The direct outgoing election-system: Like in Switzerland, I want to introduce the direct outgoing elections here in eAustria. It is time that the people can decide on their own what is best for their country. And in this case I do not demand the votes of the congress, no, I demand the votes of whole eAustria, of every citizen with eAustrian Citizenship. Where was the public election/poll when there was the discussion about the Kuruc-immigration going on? What about asking the people what alliance they want to belong to? What about asking the public about their current mood with the government and the whole situation in eAustria?
Sounds awkward to you? - It is only democracy.

The resistent country


As past events have shown, the risk of a PTO or a bank theft are not yet to be underestimated. The best example was eGermany: Their governmental organizations is so flawed that they firstly, cannot
invent a system in which a bank theft can be countervailed and secondly, they have been under the threat of a Serbian PTO.

The Kuruc-question: But what is happening in eAustria now: We are letting some hungarian (right-winged) MU named Kuruc Sereg into our country which is disliked and disrespected in eHungary itself and which are asking for asylum here in eAustria. This has happened once with eCroats and what was the result? Wiped, bank accounts were emptied, we had to start from new again.
This MU might sound trustful to Aemmerich (who would not trust their Real-life friends?), but for me it seems like he is the only one with this stance. This MU is currently blocking any other more trustful immigration (because the congress has to accept ANY member of this Military Unit WITHOUT checking them before like any other citizenship-applicant).

And what about their political stance? - How naive and brash is this MU to put Burgenland (a region of RL Austria) into their logo, under the Hungarian banner? Or how brash are some of their members to post Hitler-favoring articles and antisemtic content in eAustria?
These points have shown that this immigration has been a wrong decision.

Therefore we will, as I have promised above, launch a public election about how the people of eAustria stand to this question. The result will either lead to rating this MU as an attempted PTO, or to a trustful, peace-seeking MU, it is only up to you.

The bank theft-question: Last month in eGermany: Otto von Holunder was elected, a trustful, competent guy with an acceptable governmental programme and he was, to be honest, the 'only votable guy' amongst the candidates. But what happened? As Country Presidents ought to have access to all official organizations of the country, he entered the official eGerman bank account, transferred all the DEM to his account, built companies and exchanged all the eGerman Gold to PLN. After the other cabinet members found out, he was impeached.
So how can we make sure that nothing similiar happens in eAustria?
The CP should not have access to the Ministry of Finances and to the Ministry of Defense. Secondly, there must be a balance of risk distribution, the CP should only hold his/her position whilst the minsters control themselves (regular bilances). As Lenin once sai😛 'Trust is good, control is better'.

Foreign Policy


The keywords for a successful foreign policy are: Good Neighbor Doctrine, dialogue, respect and friendship.
eAustria is permanently trying to sustain optimal relationships with every country, as we are a mix of pro-ONE and 'neutral' we are also highly respected in the eWorld for our policy, but what is to be highlighted most is the friendship with all of our current neighbors: eCzechoslovakia, ePoland, eHungary and eSlovenia.
In the coming month, we have the duty to revanche ourselves for the constant help coming from these countries, we will supply our soldiers to hit in every neighbor-concerning battle possible, of course only, if we are not in danger to lose Southern Bohemia.
