World In a Nutshell // Croatia

Day 603, 05:12 Published in Croatia Finland by Kuhaa
World In a Nutshell is a series of articles published all over the world. In each part I will take one country or culture and write about the things I associate with it - positive or negative. The content varies depending on the subject, but no one is supposed to be offended. Basically it's just a "train of thoughts" kind of thing. Enjoy!

In the second issue I'm going to talk about Croatia.

Greetings, Croatia!

I've moved my newspaper here to talk about you and to be more specific, the shape of your country. Yes, the shape of the country you live and play eRepublik in.

Many countries look like something that's familiar from the everyday life. For example Italy that's shaped like a boot. Even Finland used to look like a girl(or a cross dressing man, I feel sorry for the Baltic countries for having to look under his skirt if that's the case) wearing a dress. Now that she's lost her other arm Finland looks like some kind of deformed bottle opener.

There's even an example in a bigger scale - South America and Africa representing umm... bees and flowers? I'm sure you know what I mean though I don't know if you see it too. Maybe I just have exceptionally dirty mind. But let's get down to the business - what does your country look like on the map? I tell you...

A crocodile

A crocodile? Yes, a crocodile. Your country looks like a giant crocodile or a dinosaur baby(or at least its huge head), coast being its neck and lower jaw. And oh my God! It's eating Bosnia and Herzegovina! She must be really hungry. You see it right? I'm not crazy, I didn't make this up.

"Croatia can has some nom nom?"

From now on I will start referring to you as "the nom nom country".

Croatia(=the Nom Nom Country) - the land of the alligators. That would look good in a commercial or a vacation leaflet don't you think? Please consider it, I believe it would make tourists to flock in your country to see these non-existent reptiles. Yes I know, crocodiles aren't the same as alligators, it's just so dull to say "crocodile" all the time.

Have you talked with people living in Bosnia & Herzegovina about this? What do they think? After all they're in your mouth for the heavens sake! Oh wait I know! Bosnia and Herzegovina is a flame coming from your alligators mouth! It's a dragon, ROAAR! Or I'm not sure, it could be just our crocodile vomiting. Though I bet your neighbors wouldn't like it if we came to that conclusion. Well it's your country, you decide if that lizards either eating, throwing out or breathing fire.

Which one is your Croatia?

Or could it be a sign from the aliens? Though I don't know what they could be trying to tell us. Anyways if that's the case those aliens should come and thank me for spotting their hidden message. Maybe when the eWorld spreads to outer space... Oh wait, you're not aliens are you? You're not, I'm sorry for even saying that out loud. Or you never know... *gasp*

Other blahblahblah

I've never been to Croatia but what I've seen in the pictures so far, it looks like a nice and beautiful country. I especially like pictures of your beaches, the water looks so warm! Unlike here, unfortunately for us. I swam in a lake today and my "tools" shrunk. So sad.

Finally, I would like to thank eCroatia for all the support it has provided to eFinland and other allies through history of the New World. You've proven yourselves to be honest people and loyal allies and for that I salute you. o> I also congratulate you for having such a large player base - something Finland has been unable to get despite the fact our RL populations are about the same size. May eCroatia grow more in the future! Thumbs up for you!

Thank you for paying such a close attention to my article as I'm sure you have. Kuhaa out.
