Wondering as a company owner
I am running a company in japan and business is going well. But there is one thing that I dont understand.
There is not a lot of food in japan's market and those that are on the price affordable are only Q1 and Q2. Not any company is accepting to build higher company because there arent enough consumers to make it affordable.
In my opinion, japan should lower import taxes on food, so that someone who has a Q3 company in some other country could come to sell it to japan, to getbetter food on market for workers that work in Q2 and Q3 companies, to get higher wellness, to improve productivity, to improve income. To make japanese company owners able to raise company levels. After we have companies that product the food in here, we can take the taxes back to 99%. But please, to be able to get better companies, allow countries from somewhere else to start offering them. It would be easier to the people in japan.

Last time I checking, currently the government is discussing about the amount of food import tax.
They will lower it but they still discuss about the amount.
Please be patients.
Like Hazuki said, we are already debating on how much we should lower our import tax.

@JackChurchill: I would appreciate Q4 food a lot, then I have a question to the japanese people. I have calculated a lot about forming a food company in japan, but the prices on food are low when calculating to salaries, how expensive could Q3 food be. Can I ask from it; production cost +10% net?
Well the lack of Q3-4 food is unacceptable. I have to import my food by the frineds from Poland. It's not cheap. Instead of donating the Q1 Companies i would donate Q3 nad Q2 to raise the level of company. We have enough of Q2.
Ciacho for The President Well its to early but for the Congressman, I have to fight in 10 battles to be ready at the time of elections.
I must say that you shuld try a lower profit-margin, you should not make the q3 food to be a privilage for the borgeoisie. (and you would have a wider costumer group)
I'm a capitalist, and I support throwing the market wide open so that starving Japanese can get cheaper food. Some socialists may disagree, but the Japanese market is in a sorry state. I think it's admirable that you're willing to invest here, and that all opportunities should be granted to you.
You can easily find domestic Q3 food for around 7 JPY if you check back often.
In my opinion, Our problem stem from companies such as Quiz Corporation Group, which pays extremely high wages, and sells goods extremely jacked up in price who continue to inflate our market. Of course, Quiz does have monopoly within Japan regarding Q4 food, so it may be due to that.
So what price would you pay if there is Q3 food on the market. Because I calculated and it's quite expensive to produce.
