Winning Starts With Beginning

Day 2,021, 23:18 Published in USA USA by Azazel Romanov

Going to be a short article, but I'll skip right to the point. I'll say first off that this is my personal opinion, and I won't be speaking to you in my roles as US MoFA or CoT MC. You may not believe me when I say that, but everyone is entitled to hold an opinion, and I've held my tongue for a long time. I write this as a fellow citizen of the eWorld. I haven't written to you in a while, so we'll see how my skills have decreased.

At the start of this war, many predicted immediate failure. Even I was a bit disillusioned with our side, and started to regret becoming the head of CoT operations. Fronts were opening everywhere and I thought we wouldn't hold any back. But then the same thought crossed through everyone's mind and we knew what we had to do. Fighting as individual countries, we were weak. We cannot out-damage TWO on our own, the numbers are not on our side yet. But that is changing. Starting with the Romanian airstrike, CoT finally figured out that we had to fight this war together. Yesterday and today, here is what we saw:

Chile, win. Twice.
Germany, win.
America, win. Twice.
Russia, win.
Croatia, win. Twice.
Italy, win.
Finland, win.
Albania, win.

CoT and others have realized this is a world war. Recently we saw TWO's new article TWO is better than ONE. Problem is, they're wrong. We are one right now. We fought as one and we have won as one. CoT has nothing to lose, and TWO has everything. You've grown bigger and stronger, but you haven't attained purpose. You have the damage, but you don't have the direction.

The war may end up going in a different direction. In the end, we might lose. Worse, we might cease to be in an alliance. But before all that, we found a reason to fight, and a reason to survive. There are few things in this game that make me actually genuinely happy in real life. Politics is a mess, war never changes, and the economy is terrible. But as people, we're getting better. I'm proud of us. I'm proud of the US. I'm proud of Russia. I'm proud of Chile, of Germany, or Croatia, of Albania. I'm proud of ASGARD, of the countries without an alliance, but with brotherhood. You may not agree with CoT, with each other, but we know who we are are facing. You may not agree with your government, but we know who we are facing.

If we lose the war, don't let us lose this moment. Don't let us lose our pride and our honor. Don't let us lose our trust in one another. This past few weeks I have gained more friends than I have my entire career in the eUS. There is more to this game than one presidential election, one battle, one person, one gold, one word. There is friendship. There is partnership. There is success, and there is failure. Change is always occurring, and we must always be there to meet it.

Summer is here, and we are rising. We will keep fighting, and we will keep winning.
