Winds of change
Admins announced today changes in the productivity formula that took place yesterday. There are 2 main changes that will impact economy quite a lot:
1. Productivity in manufacture and constructions was cut in half, as the skill 2* multiplier was eliminated.
2. Company quality multiplier for land was modified. Unlike with previous formula, now it's very profitable to upgrade a land company.
Here are the multipliers first for manufacture and constructions and the second value for land:
q1:___1____1
q2:__0.50__0.9
q3:__0.33__0.8
q4:__0.25__0.7
q5:__0.20__0.6
How will this impact the market and the economy?
The price for raw materials will have to go down, quite a lot on some markets. Productivity increases constantly in land as workers already have skill 2+, upgrades will also bring an increased productivity value, and the demand for materials will lower since productivity in manufacture and constructions was cut in half.
Another effect I think will be a drop in wages, again in some cases quite big. Due to free materials and increased productivity, some managers offered ridiculous salaries. If they want to make profit in the future, or at least not lose money, they will have to take into account both the cost of materials and the productivity when offering jobs.
The price of products (not materials) will have to go up, but that will not happen all of a sudden, since many companies have large stocks of products they need to sell fast due to increased productivity in constructions and manufacture during the last week.
To help managers calculate productivity and costs I created an excel table:

The password for opening the file is erepublik
You will need to fill in the skill and wellness of your employees as well as some other required values like company quality, number of recommended employees for that industry, number of productivity units required for a product, region productivity, price of materials and products...
The table was intended for my companies at first, but I think it can be used for any company now. If you find any mistakes, please let me know so I can correct them.
Of course all this is rubbish if they change their mind again and modify the productivity formula one more time.( oh God...)
PS
1. Rapidshare sux, I changed the hosting of the file.
2. File was created in MS Office 2007 and is not compatible with older versions.

Salut,
Mie nu imi merge fisierul. Am schimbat extensia in xls si degeaba. Nu il deschide. Poti sa verifici ? Multumesc
The document was created using MS Office 2007 and is not compatible with previous versions of MS Office.
Votat, acum poate imi iau si eu officeul nou.
Sper sa ai destui bani sa-l cumperi, cu recesiunea care ne asteapta

Il uploadez in alta parte. Any ideea where?
Felicitari oricum. Informatia e importanta.
I've written a productivity calculator here: http://www.cccp-group.org/index.php?page=erep_prodcalc
Nice Kumnaa... I'll add it to the article.
I managed to insert other links in the article, but yours wouldn't show up right... Any ideea why? Maybe some characters not accepted in links?
Maybe it can't handle the ?
Still lots of bugs to be fixed in this game
