Why I am running for the position of Country President.

Experience:
First of all, I am very experienced. I have served Australia for countless months now. Ive done this in both the Australian Cabinet, the Australian Senate, and as a member of the delegation to overseas alliances as well.
Activity:
This is my first article in a while, so it it my first opportunity to reply to the issue of activity. First off, it has been brought to my attention that I have been replaced as Deputy Prime Minister of Australia. The reason given for this was "inactivity". Now, anyone who knows me at all will know what a joke that is, but fair enough, Cottus' close buddy who decided to leave the country when he was last deputy Prime Minister decided to return, and this gave him a reason to fire me. Its as good a reason as any, I guess. Interestingly enough, it was one Cottus Arci who was removed from the Australian Military for inactivity, not me. Go figure. All I would like to say in response is that my activity levels where counted anywhere else have been acceptable and the fact that my work was done in the hours that you were does not mean that I wasnt online and working for the betterment of Australia.
Nominations:
Finally, there has been a great deal of discussion taking place regarding party nominations currently taking place. Some parties have chosen a candidate. Others are still choosing. To those that have, and have chosen myself (the Australian Independents, Australian Communist Party, and the True Blue Party currently) - allow me to publicly thank your members for the opportunity to run as Prime Minister of this great eCountry of ours. When i announced myself as a candidate, I did not like my chances. I was facing strong opposition from both Sir C0nstant and Cottus Arci, and I did not have any party back whatsoever at that stage, due to the unfortunate incidents that took place this month in the Australian Democratic Party.
Australian Independents:
Now, I feel it is important to talk about the Australian Independents' nomination. The Australian Independents nomination was a very close vote between myself and Cottus Arci. Obviously, we could not both win the nomination. There were many times during this nomination that I believed that I might not win it, and the lead for the nomination in the primaries forum thread changed many times over the few days of nominations and voting. Ultimately though, I was narrowly elected as winner of the country president nominations. One of the main reasons for this is probably that I have developed strong ties with a number of Australian Independents' members. Over the last half a year, both in Senate and in Cabinet, I have been working closely with many of them to improve Australia. That is the sort of thing that doesnt depend upon party boundaries, though, and those people that truly are in it for the country, and not just themselves, come across as this very strongly indeed.
Australian Military Party:
Okay, next announcement I have to make is in regards to the Australian Military Party. In the interests of letting Cottus Arci be able to run, after talking to Larni, I decided to officially withdraw my nomination from this party so that Cottus would have the opportunity to run. This would also help to heal the division that has split this party the last few days.
Finally, I must add the following. Cottus Arci will be my deputy Prime Minister if I am elected. Whilst I may not agree with his unceremonious dumping of myself from his cabinet, he is experienced and decidated to Australia. Im willing to put whats best for the country above what I, personally, may wish. It is in the best interests of Australia to work together with a unified front than have a bitterly divided nation. To this end, my cabinet (which will be released very shortly, as will my goals for the month) will feature people from a number of different parties. My team will be made up of what I believe to be the best people for the jobs, not the best people in my own party.

Give it a rest already. The people of eAustralia are looking for REAL change not more of the same failed leadership of the past.
the only failed leadership is yours PTH... given that you single handedly dropped a party's membership down by half in about half a month of being in charge.
So what are you planning on doing once elected?

Cottus Arci - maybe if you were online for more than 2 hours a day you would know.
The famous American general George S. Patton said "Lead me, follow me, or get out of my way". We need leaders who can lead. To use a more modern expression, can walk the walk, not just talk the talk.
We need someone who can aggressively work to guarantee our security and end the eIndo threat. We also need someone who can put together a cabinet to make true economic reforms. Were you aware that one year ago our economy was #10 in GDP and now is #40?
So, candidates, please STFU with your arguing and bickering and get together, find a leader and lets get some WIN going.

i agree, economic change is needed. We need to seriously mix it up a little and try some drastic changes economically. Wages are soaring and frankly, we need to improve how we interact with new players, i know the ANI are doing heaps of work behind the scenes with newborns and trying to support, Encourage and make the game more enjoyable. We should allow HEAPS more people to become citizens, we need the work force. Well said WW, i think ultimately we need to have some balls and get out there and be an international player. I would rather fight back from being taken over by a PTO or world war than sit here 2 clicking and watching people self destruct out of boredom and fear, who knows we may even get a baby boom out of it ;P
That's a good point EI org. People are saying we shouldn't attack eIndo because it will give them a babyboom. Works both ways I should think.

trust me when i say that the majority of Australians wont give a damn if Indonesia is invaded/ we invade them/us.

i Do agree replacing you with DA was a surprise , but shouldnt be its back to the elitist attitude and helping ones friends. I think a bill should be introduced so all those PM s and D pm can not run consective terms. This will help introduce new blood in the country which is needed.I know the old guard are aware of the game but if you dont move aside and let newer players in they will eventually move elsewhere. Just my thoughts, anyways I wish u luck Timeoin and if your are elected think seriously about a cabinet with fresh minds its time for the old guard to sit back for a while

As a citizen of eAustralia, I am glad to see competition for PM. So good luck. However, at Cottus Arci, why do you have to start the BS already? Can a guy not state that he is running without some fool, let alone the current PM, making stupid comments? Do we always have to try and find a way to tear people down? I am sick of the mudslinging and poor comments made by some people towards other people of eAustralia. You would think that we are all enemies against one another.

So why are you running for PM? You presented what happened to you as Deputy PM, you told us which party supports you and who and why will be your Deputy PM. But why? As others asked before me, what are your plans? What change will you bring upon eAustralia? Why would you be a better PM than Cottus?
I must say give tim some slack he has done more than enough for this eCountry and desveres to have his shot at PM , and Cottus this is why im not letting you run under TBP your an arsehole
