Speaking personally, I resigned because I'm trying to get Brazilian citizenship to increase my production bonuses (not for my personal profit I might add.)

I did not make any election promises, and did not release a manifesto. I have broken no promises.

I did not intend to disrespect anyone by choosing to leave. If someone wants to get upset by my actions, that's their prerogative as far as I'm concerned.

crap reason john, maybe you should have considered that BEFORE you ran for Congress.

It's not right that they resigned but it's just something that happens in this game that you have to get over.
I thought when they removed movement restrictions for Congress members that this would stop, but getting better citizenship bonuses have emerged as greater incentive to resign as a Congressman.

If I had an issue with something someone did I wouldn't release an article about it publically first, I would go to them and ask them myself.
tbh, this kind of thing used to be spoken about a lot and it was used a tool for mudslinging in the past. Not saying that this is what the article was about, but personally I always saw it as a pretty small minded & petty complaint.

When you look at congress and realise how little it does and how unimportant being a congress member in eIreland effects the running of the country, not to mention how ridiculously easy it is to get "elected", the "resigning as a congressman" complaint becomes exceedingly trivial.

I'm sorry if I thread on some congressman's feeling of self-importance, but congress at the moment in eIreland really doesn't matter.

Snuggles donates many, if not all, of the Q5 weapons he makes in his companies to eIreland. This is a greater service for eIreland than voting down an idiotic impeachment vote or an obvious alliance vote. He is one of eIrelands greatest and most generous citizens.

A game bug prevented me from proposing it at first, then that idiot Kurgan messed it up by proposing UK as NE without asking anyone. Snuggles getting extra bonuses means more food and weapons for Irish people. If the 5gold congress medal helped pay wages in his communes then Snuggles getting a seat in congress and then leaving for the bonus is more than justified imo.

They are usually personal - & as such mainly that persons business. So, the proper response to this thread is to say nothing.

This is why I resigned, moved and changed citizenship - quite frankly I do disrespect (almost) the whole eIrish community for tolerating what has been going on for months - if not years here. But I did not resigned as a gesture of disrespect, I simply lost hope that anything would ever change in eIreland. When EDEN/Terra have nothing else to do, you'll get (some) of your country back, when EDEN/Terra is busy elsewhere, you'll be wiped off the map. You chose not to play this game, but to be played with. I like to play the game, so I moved on.
