Why Buy a Q1 House
what4
Homeless in eUSA asks: I have lived my entire eLife on the eStreets what for would I need a house?
The 2 main reasons to get a house are:
1) More energy to fight
2) Working Overtime (details at bottom)
At current market prices and wages only a Q1 house can pay for itself from overtime work.
At time of writing this article:
The market price for a Q1 House is ~267 and
The market wage is ~53.75 or 47.3 after taxes
So after taxes pay for the week would be 331.1 which more than covers the cost of the Q1 House.
So Homeless in eUSA you definitely should buy a Q1 House if you have a job paying market wage. Other Qx houses are more expensive and are not fully paid for with overtime pay (e.g. Q2 houses have market price of ~450 which would only be partially offset by the 331.1 of overtime pay)
If you work in a commune, you should ask if the commune would pay you for overtime work.
All houses have 168 hr duration (one week), they can be activated and deactivated. For each hour activated you earn 1 overtime ticker. It takes 24 overtime tickets to work overtime. So if you keep a Qx house active for a fool week you will get 168 overtime tickets that will allow you to work overtime 7 times. If you have differ Q houses (e.g. Q1 & Q2) then both will earn overtime tickets.

Even if you work in a Commune would it not help the Commune for you to work overtime?
Why are the wages so high?
Why are the wages in USA higher than in other countries?
Why are higher quality houses not "profitable" in terms of working overtime?
Maybe better formatting of the article? Introduction, Thesis, Argumental part with pros and cons, Application of the overtime working and its Benefits, Conclusion.
Good questions....
The Mike just contributed to our next set of questions on Break The Silence!
This was all directed at what4. So far he has done a half-assed job in order to get the promised WHPR endorsement.
Was not looking for endorsements - just skimmed the article and saw requests for articles on why Q1 profitable - so just (as indicated) update and old article
to what4, i read these comments but it did not stick in but now i understand, i wrote my article to buy q1 houses because "you can make more money" then whpr writes an article saying articles that need to be written "WHY (does bolding work in comments?) Q1 houses are good to own" then you write one about why q1 houses are profitable to own.
i want to say it was all me for starting his chain of events and i want all credit to be mine for any more work any player decided to do on informing the publik about house ownership! (as opposed to whpr or what4 for writting his article)
ok maybe if my workers owned houses i would not have started this chain! so credit might not be mine. but i will take over the world and make everyone my slave if they do not agree with me!
bolding does not workt. it even takes out the [b..] [./b] 🙁 so you cannot even see i tried to bold why
Housing industry driving wages
other houses cost more than the overtime pay (Q2 ~450) - OT will help pay for the houses but does not make a profit
i think eusa is the only country with full house bonuses so that is why america has a good house market which drives wage market! monopoly on the q1 house full bonus (it is a separate item from q1 house four fifths bonus).

What is a good wage to pay a commune worker for OT clicks?
Assuming the commune pay is $1 (or .88 after tax) I would think something like $42 would cover the cost of the house (7*42.88 =300.16)
