Today's Agenda: A few words; Allied War Report




My dear friends,

America appears to find herself at a crossroad, forced to choose between self interest or helping her allies.

We may look down one road and see self interest, protection of the regions we hold for the Resources not found in our homeland. We fight daily RWs against enemies who fight against France's wishes at Aquitaine, protecting our Rubber. We fight daily RWs at Asturias (Iron), and frequent RWs at Galacia (Fish) and Navarra (Deer). In recent days we have seen ONE pour fighters into Mexico to help wrest control of vital Croatian resources as they push northward toward our Saltpeter at Baja.
We might surmise from this view that America needs to protect its own interests above all.

We may look down another road and see our longtime ally Croatia being pushed out of Mexico and Colombia, losing their vital resources. We can see Slovenia holding Switzerland hostage through extortion disguised as diplomacy. We see Serbia picking away at its neighbors in an effort to regain a foothold of power in the Balkans. And most evident is Poland's steady growth as they chip away at Germany to the west, and venture north into the Nordic lands against Russia.
This view might suggest that America needs to invest heavily in our allies' battles, to stop enemy expansion and aggression against our friends.

I propose to you, my friends, that this "crossroads" is a misconception. America's interests and those of her allies are the same. Protecting our resources enables America to protect our allies. Fighting for our allies takes resources away from our enemies. We must not see this as a choice, because there is no choice. We must do both.
The road does not divide before us, it goes forward ever wider and more complex but forward nonetheless.

Just last night we saw a great victory against the combined forces of ONE, as we put down the rebellion at Northeast Mexico, and today we are cleaning ONE's collective clock at Northwest Mexico. We have stopped ONE in their tracks to protect our Saltpeter and America's own border, and at the same time are turning the tide to restore Croatia's vital resource regions to her.

There is no choice to be made, the only possible action America can take in the Central American theater of war serves both our allies and ourselves. The only possible action is to push, push, push harder till we push ONE into the sea. The path does not go left or right, there is no crossroads, there is only forward.

ONE will be met at every turn, head on and in full force. America and the united forces of Terra/Eden do not choose self interest over allies. There is no choice, there is only victory through strength and strength through unity.

Let us move forward together, America, to help build a stronger, safer and more fun world to play in.

In Other News from the White House

The Gun Drive to benefit the US Civilian Military Unit continues at yesterday's edition of this newspaper.
Late Friday night, Rainy Sunday reported, "Awesome turnout! Thank you very much for doing this," and offered some subtotals to that point:
4940 weapons (mostly Q5 and Q6)
7500 food (mostly Q1, Q3 and Q5)
The US Civilian MU does not get any government subsidization, its 500+ members are largely self sufficient but those who do request supplies are dependent upon private donations from you. That's five hundred American fighters on our battlefields, mostly 2-clickers and new players who might be fighting bare handed without your patriotic generosity. Support America by supporting our US Civilian MU fighters.

The Department of Defense continues, in addition to posting daily Civilian Fight Orders, to present a series of articles spotlighting the various fighting groups which comprise America's battlefield might.
American Fighting Forces, Boot Camp Edition is the first in the series. Be sure to read and subscribe to the DoD Orders.

Tomorrow, Sunday Feb 5 brings the monthly Presidential Election.
The field of candidates is set, and beginning at 00:01 Day 1538 America will begin to set our course for the next month.
