Hello everybody,

as you already know our dear admins brought new change to the game - Holding Companies (HC). Players can create one or more Holding Companies in many different regions, in accordance with their needs in terms of performance bonuses.

In order to create a holding company in the region, you have to go there, and also you have to be in that region so you could work as manager in your companies.

I believe you already know that the first holding - is free, but the next one won't be free, it'll be 25G, the next one 50 and so on.

So think twice before you decide to create your Holding Company/Companies. The most common question we're hearing lately is: ''WHERE SHOULD I CREATE HOLDING COMPANY?

Now i want to give you an answer to that question, or at least help you by expressing my opinion on the matter, it could be helpful to some of you. I'm not an active player as i used to be, but the new change aroused my curiosity. So here it is.

One of the most important things you should know before you create HC is that there is a bonus of the country, bonus of the region, and pollution as a ''negative'' factor, and all those factors are affecting your production. So the production formula is:

(Country Bonus) + (Region Bonus) + (Performance Booster) - (Pollution)

Pay attention to taxes of the country where you wanna settle in. Work tax can be a b*tch. Taxes are calculated by the formula:

Work Tax (the country that owns the region) * 80% + Work Tax (your citizenship country) * 20%

Don't create HC in 'hostile' countries like USA for example.

So basically you need to take all those things i mentioned above into consideration while you search for region(s) for your HC.

Now if you don't own many Companies, i'd recommend creating one Holding where you can put all your companies. That's what i did.

I, as many other players, am not quite familiar with this pollution thing, how does it work exactly and all that, but be sure to pick a region with less pollution otherwise your productivity is screwed. I would avoid creating HC in big and powerful countries such as Romania or Serbia, since everyone are creating their HCs over there, it's overcrowded and there might be a bigger pollution than in other countries.

Depending on what type of companies you own you should pick a region with the matching bonuses, or if you plan to create only one HC, pick a region with good bonuses for all the industries you own with minimal pollution.

In conclusion: Regions get conquered, so it can affect your productivity, it can change for better or worse, keep that in mind. There's not an universal answer for your question. There are too many factors which can affect your productivity. Other people can't give you an answer for that question. Rely on your instincts and knowledge and you'll be fine. Good luck.
