Today I would like to talk about a question that constantly seems to be asked and no-one knows the answer to. This question is, of course, 'What's Up?'. I'm sure you have had many people ask you this question or you yourself have asked, as you simply do not know the answer, so I thought I should clear this up for everyone.
Up is a 2009 American 3D computer-animated comedy-adventure film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and directed by Pete Docter. The film centers on an elderly widower named Carl Fredricksen (voiced by Edward Asner) and an earnest young Wilderness Explorer named Russell (Jordan Nagai). By tying thousands of balloons to his home, 78-year-old Carl sets out to fulfill his lifelong dream to see the wilds of South America and to complete a promise made to his lifelong love.

You forgot two things:
First, they made a better love story in 6 minutes than Twilight did in their ENTIRE series.
And secondly ... he wasn't going to South America. He was trying to get to Paradise Falls. Unbeknownst to him though, its not a slaver base in the Capital Wasteland
