What is going on in... Belgium

I've had a chat with Critically the Belgian CP and I asked him some questions about what is going on in his country. Here is a short report on what is going on in Belgium.



Why Slovenia occupies Belgian regions...

It all started when Chile landed in Europe. Asteria was nervous and started the push back straight away which eventually succeeded after Asteria trapped Chile in Belgian regions and Slovenia never left. Belgium are currently in a training war and Belgium gets the taxes lost to Slovenia back.


What is the Belgian government doing?

Critically: 'Several Ministers are working hard on projects. Like the Minister of Defence is working on strikes and funding for MU's. The Minister of Fun and Media takes care of Media activity. But other than that, small countries are really suffering from the dying eWorld and it's very hard for us to keep our people active. Though there's always a core group of people that will always be active.

I can't go into details but the FA team has orders to maintain old friendships and create new ones. Currently some old friendships (with NL mainly) are being worked on after some troubles the last few months. We also did talk to Slovenia couple of days ago about getting the tax money back and we're getting it. On the military field, we can't do a lot. We're small and insignificant in terms of damage but our MoD will do all he can to maximize our influence for our friends and allies.'


In the future what will Belgium look like in your opinion?

Critically: 'I think or at least I hope Belgium will become a little bit more active again. We're small and neutral but still we always managed to get the best of our situation when we were attacked. In general, other countries come here and go fast, with the exception of Slovenia now but we're having a mutual beneficial TW with them.'
