Join the new world

Tomorrow sees the dawn of a new era for The Philippines. With blitzwithlimes not standing for a second term in the hot seat it is time for a new citizen to take the reigns. That citizen must be the best person for the job, i believe that person is me.

So what have you done in all these months I hear you cry.

- I have been a UK paratrooper
- I have lead the paratroopers (the e-UK’s finest soldiers) for 6 months and into dozens of wars
- I have run what was at its time the largest corporation in the e-world, Aurum.
- I have published endless article and run the only UK e-bookies helping to bring extra things to the mundane 2 click regime.
- Running Merchant Traders (an org helping to buy/sell goods to people worldwide)
- Helping the MDU to grow and expand, I have been involved since the parties formation when it had a mere 13 members.
- I was in the UK House of Lords
- I was in UK Congress
- I have been UK VP

Now more importantly my plans for the development of The Philippines into a nation that can hold its own in the New World. It will not be easy, and i will say now my aim is to lead this country for several months.

Economy

There are certain things that one can do before being in power, i (along with my party) have already:
1) Reduced the minimum wage to 1 PHP in an attempt to quash high prices and booming inflation. This minimum wage willbe kept throughout my tenure.
2) Tax Reform: As seen in the article published earlier this week and the proposals so far, we are bringing taxes to suitable levels that will allow cash flow for the government whilst pointing the appropriate sectors in the right direction.
3) Government Companies: A large issue when we first arrived were the lack of low level jobs and the lack of goods on the market, 7 government companies have been set up to match these demands, and provide the suitable jobs and goods at the best possible costs.

What I will do for the economy as president.

1) Appoint a Director of Economics, they will be incharge of the national bank. Their single most important job will be to control the value of PHP. They will set a benchmark and ensure that the currency remains around that value.
2) Overall Stablility: Basically ensuring there are enough goods in each sector to meet the everyday demands of the national citizens. This will include the creation of an org with the sole purpose of providing housing to the citizens rather than having to import wood for construction.

Military

Although we still only have a small active poulation, there is nothing to stop us from developing a small, compact and well organised military units. Many of the FPM members have massive military experience. The suggested military format will be:

Overseas Task Force
- Elites (those who can do 80+ damage and willing to travel)
- Normal (those who can do 50+ damage and willing to travel)

And a Home Guard
- A platoon (Those who do 80+ damage)
- B platoon (Those who do 50-70 damage)
- C platoon (Those who do 20-50 damage)

Regarding our MPP situation i will look to secure safety, we are in a bad position bordered bythe 2 powerhouses of the game (Indonesia and Romania). I will make it my goal to setup talks to ensure we keep our shore safe from invasion.

Constructions
We don't have a never ending budget, but during my term i garuntee a hospital of at least Q3 for one of our regions, Defense Systems will also be installed if we can find a suitable price.

Social
I have personally setup the Official forums, as a place to finally bring everyone together in a happy active community. The forum continues to grow, and we will use it to hold discussions between congressmen on sensitive issues etc. They also have party boards, a Jobseeker section and anything else you might need.
