Hello Australia,
I address you today, as the new and proud party president of the eRepublikism Alliance, or ERA. Crowdedhouse handed the party over from the Green and Gold Party, and we thank him for that.
For many months I have been apart of the ADSP and it will always have a place in my heart, but time goes on, and this new party is going to be big.
What the hell is eRepublikism?
eRepublikism, or in parts of Tasmania eRepism, is a new ideology based on the knowledge of eRepublik's game mechanics and not real life ideologies.
Why you ask?
You see, ERA is not based on real life ideologies such as socialism, communism, capitalism or any other ism, but rather supreme knowledge of eRepublik's mechanics, gained through years of experience between members. These ideologies have worked in the past, but have created now a culture of laziness, incompetence and people pushing personal agendas. Now it is time to use this knowledge, to better eAustralia, without the restrictions of being tied down to a real world ideology which in most cases, cannot be applied to the game. As such, we can throw out past political feuds and come together as one, for the betterment of eAustralia.
How will it work?
We all have different strengths in eRepublik, whether it be finance to war to foreign affairs. We plan to hold a number of IRC, chatrooms and forum discussions in which all members are free to attend, to voice their opinion to shape our party's policies, all based on eRepublik's mechanics, and NOT real life ideologies.
So what do I have to do?
Join up here and sign up here on our forums. The rest is up to you to help Australia reach her full potential.

Don't let this list intimidate you, all of us are very welcoming people, who are united under a common goal of the betterment of Australia. We have the knowledge, but we don't have new ideas, and that is where you come in. By joining ERA old and new will come together, and you will get a chance to be mentored by one of Australia's oldest and most experience players.

Patti, I think the idea is interesting and I appreciate what you want to do, but how do you keep ideologies out of it? We identify with them because of our core beliefs. Can we play and enjoy the game while denying our humanity? I'm not putting down your idea but I'm confused.
If by 'mess' you mean a perfectly run country.
Well you aroused my curiosity, looks intriguing on paper.Personal ego tripping agendas will always remain a problem me thinks.I look forward to seeing something that would unify all eAustralian's under one banner,strength in numbers.

Patti entered us into the EDEN alliance after a whole 10 minute discussion - I'd say that was a much greater mistake.
Cerri is a great PM.
YAY! Flame war! C'mon people. This article is about new hope and all that jazz for eAustralia. Lets try not troll each other eh? Everyone has different views and thats what political parties are for. Some (including me) think that Cerri shouldn't be CP atm. Others do. Thats okey. But this article is about starting something fresh and to find new ways of accomplishing what many have set out to do but it hasnt been done (yet).
LIAR - zaney (Father of eAustralia) is not part of your alliance so stop lying.
And how the hell is Cerri not a great PM... BETTER THAN PATTI who joins EDEN with less than 10min of discussion. Maybe we also better give the Federal Reserve Bank all our gold with only 10min of discussion with noone on. Doesn't that sound like a good idea!
Ummmm. Do you history David and Ben. If you read the whole explanation of the RW in WA by Patti11 (then as PM) you would have noted that CERRI WAS ALSO IN ON THE PLAN! That plan also included joining EDEN.
Question time:- How does admin feel about the knock off logo?
Why not eAustralian Alliance?
Does eRepublik Alliance = Internationalization?

It's at a time like this that it is great to be an Independent. I can sit back and (with a glass of South Australian red in my hand) watch what happens! 🙂 It certainly sounds very interesting to me.

Haha, I remember when I first ventured onto the eAus forums and I was in a discussion/flame-war about political parties and I was saying how the only proper way to run a party was by giving game mechanics priority, rather then real-life ideologies.
It was part of my defence for the PaPP and naturally, no one took me seriously. So hopefully you guys can prove the nay-sayers wrong and show what a properly run party can do.

sticking my head out to post to clear up some things from a neutral perspective (as I hope you all trust my view to be)
ERA itself is not a bad thing, but requires the more 'culturally minded' people, such as ranger, cerri, srg, BenP (and others I couldn't be bothered listing, 2 hours sleep) to join and not let the more 'clinical' ones (Derrick Appolyon, Cottus Arci, Corny ratbag [look out for people with 2 name names, they are heartless, as statistics show]) to stiffin up the nation to a place unlivable by us who like to 'play' it as a game, not 'work' it as a chore.
