Welcome Message: Bad end.

This was the process of me trying to approve a better welcome message for the new playes who are born in eRussia.
1. I agree a message with the Minister of Information. With only one link to the wiki, in both languages.
2. UncleDeD vetoes the idea and says that the message must contain much more information.
3. I disagree for the resasons mentioned already in this diary.
4. He gives the order. I say - ok, but then we need the new text.
5. He say, "I will give it to my people".
6. I say - "this is what we have since one or two weeks, and we are still waiting". He, exaesperated says, that he will make it this day.
7. He makes it, a message which is in my point of view completely inadequate and far too long, but better as the ghetto stuff. I translate it to English, with the help of people.
8. Today he says me it is not valid because it is too long (3000 characters). I tell him to cut it, of course. He says "no", that the English thing can go in a link and the Russian in the message.
9. I say that he is discriminating. He says, "moredan yes - because it's russia".
10. I say that he can then do the message himself, I will no longer push this.
End of this taks for now, I guess. Sad.

Neither do I. But oh wait.. I haven't read the article.
So, Moredan. Maybe russian part of welcome message should be the long one, like Ded's proposed, but the english part - short, with only one link to wiki. Isn`t it a compromise?
Chapaev: I was a bit fed up to trying to find a compromise, to be honest. I tried in many of the described steps. So I better let it be.
Greeting message must for newbies must be un 2 languages - I agree. I also think that all messages from the authorities should have English version or at least a summary of an article in english. A short summary written in simple words can be translated more or less adequately even by google.
I think Ded desn't want do that because they plan to give up althe conquered states back to eUSA and don't expect too many English speaking players to stay in eRussia after that.
If there's a problem in your relations with FRP members specially? Maybe it would be better to wait for new congress and new president? It feels like anything you say is blocked by them, without even argues.
It is just a nube feeling - from reading newspapers. 🙂

We have thousands of angry english speaking ppl living on our temporary lands. They are ready to do sabotage, TO and so on.

eXciter: I want them to feel ok in eRussia, be productive citizens who do not hate eRussia, and be good Americans when America joins PEACE - there is already a party of Americans who want to join PEACE.
Again, like when you said I could not present people for Congress "because The Cossacks are not in the top 5" (and of course I knew and we told already that we presented them under Empire flag)... you really do not know what you are talking about, and you embarrass yourself.

@Kalimbo: Good idea. Tell UncleDeD. If he agrees, I agree. But you can guess his reaction, and so do I. He does not trust the people, he thinks he knows best 🙁 .

BUT
Even if we have sometimes problems, and we are both stubborn and sometimes happen things like this... WE STILL CAN WORK. If we could not, I would not be vice-president anymore.
He agreed with *other* subjects. Foreign Legion organization, 80% of the Army organization, Translation Team...
Actually I may write too few about the things which work.
Of course: I will be able to work much better with an Empire / Future / CDP / Cossack congress, because in this case I will simply be the President. I may even be the President nonetheless, now the FRP knows I am serious (see next article).
So... it is a matter of time. Few time. I hope.
And I would not like to lose the good FRP people. There *are* good people in the FRP, and not few. I dislike this mutual hatred between FRP and CDP, I have seen excellent people in both parties, I would prefer to let that be and work together for eRussia.
