War games?

Recently, the governement of éIreland as decided to join War Games in Lithuania, like every normal war, this would make economy go better, but thoses War Games aren't free. Since we are one of the last neutral nations of Erepublik, it's harder to find a suitable situation to join a War Game because we got no alliance with greatest world nations. Since we got no alliance with them, why would they let soldiers from an other nation fight in their land?, the Only way they would accept is that it benefits them, so we had to pay to join it. But soonly after, in War between Greece and Turkey, Turkey did attack a second time like exepted. And just as the War Games we had pay for started, the Department of Defence asked us to privilege the war between Greece and Turkey insted of the War between Lithuania and Latvia since it was a real war.
So, as we were involved into 2 wars, one we payed for and the other we didn't, we were asked to help our ally. As i understand this decition from the Department of Defence, why did the current Governement payed for War Game when they exepected a second strike on our allies?

"Secondly, Greece has been sustaining intense fire from the Turks lately and I would ask all citizens to bookmark the war page here and to prioritise the Greek conflict over the Lithuanian war-games for the time being. Minister of Defence Top Gun and chief of staff gordongekko will be deploying arms to IDF members at some stage today. As I write the Peloponnese has stayed in Greek hands and Crete is holding firm, but Turkish tanks often only come out to play at the end of battles and can drop a 200,000 wall in minutes."

So if the Governement exepeted this strike back from Turkey, (They even used the word "Finally" as if they were waiting for it since a long time) Why did it spent a huge ammount of money to do some " War Games " With PEACE? I remember reading about an other war game, Offered not so long ago that would have been less expensive, what happened to this proposal? Why did the Governement joined PEACE for the war game? Are they secretly exepting to join PEACE and leave our neutrality in the trash can?
Neutrality and Peace (Not PEACE) are the greatest weapons of Ireland, as we are a small Nation, we must stay back and keep silent? Who knows, but the only thing i dare to say is that the current Government had its time, I think we must protect our Neutrality and stay back for a little time. Maybe, one day, the time will come for Ireland to stand up and fight, but that day is not today, If we do so today, we shall fall, The 2 countries that suround us, France and UK are really powerfull, in a single click, they would be able to eradicate Ireland from the wold map, like France did to Spain.
It is not only for I or the governement to decide what should happens next in Ireland, it should be every citizens of eIreland to stand up and say we they have to say, I would not take side today but everyone has something different to say and it's important to listen to them, some people would say that War Games are good for economy and eIreland status in the world, but others would say that it would be better to stop thoses and keep neutral.

War Games in reality are for an oligarchy who rule. The Game doesn’t differentiate War Games from real life conquest and is often used to keep a ruling Oligarchy in office. Backing Greece showed that we had no PEACE leanings.
Joining the war games was the only guarantee of regular warfare and Lithuania was the cheapest option.
I expect as long as we have no high regions we are safe from invasion from our neighbours.

Those cheaper wargames you heard about were the PEACE wargames which we are currently participating in every second day. Our participation in Turkey v Greece is dependant on an originally greek region is being attacked or trying to be regained so it's not a reliable source of battles.
Greece has had a turbulent and troubled history and has been oppressed by foreign countries occupying it's lands before.
Defending eGreece from an aggressor who wishes to take their lands is an honourable cause imho for we sympatise with them as a fellow smaller nation. I imagine that turn of phrase was used by the President as he was under fire for his lack of being a psychic and his ability to mind-read 🙂
We have a non-aggression pact with eUK and eFrance with severe gold penalties for a breach so invasion is unlikely.
Daniels opinion on wargames, while interesting. is completely unorthodox and seems to go against the game mechanics for improving the security and defensive capabilities of an enation.

I tracked all the donations related to the PEACE war games yesterday, and we got by cheaply. Several PEACE nations actually paid a higher price for involvement, while Ireland paid the standard fare of 30 gold. We were not charged a higher rate because of our neutrality, we were charged the same as any smaller nation. An excellent deal for the benefits of the war games.
