What is the TRUE cost of this hospital because it obviously cost UNL Hospitals more than 500NLG to build it.

If we sol😛 300gold = 19,950NLG! (@66.5NLG - 1 gold, current price)

%00 NLG is a symbolic price. It goes from the state companies to the state. Normally indeed we would sell it for around 300 gold. So you can see that as the real investment, although this gold is not taken of the state accounts, now it comes from the profits of the state companies. Naturally the state companies will need some NLG extra for our wages. In two weeks we will sell another Q5 hospital to improve our reserves.

i hope we will have long time pleasure of the hospital,
it looks nice, but isn't it better to secure the older Q5 buildings by moving people to those regions?

the game RISK can be played the same way,
go take more regions fast whit small army, but lose all regions at ones when they atack at the right place.

indeed it's a huge investment. I'm walloon, i moved to brussels for the q5hospital. Even if it would be a nice improvement it still risky imho couldn't we use this money for something that would be useful for ALL the nation ?

Go make more players active mate, more you and me cant do about this issue, and if I think about it there allot of players trying to do so, next step would be getting those players to vote these things would it now? 😉

@Darkcloud91: good luck with leaving, didn't you leave the last few hundred times something like this didn't went to your liking? or is that a other Darkcloud91 I remember from the beta and beginning V1 days 🙂

To all not agreeing now, you should have discussed at the forum to express your feelings, you should have came together at IRC and voted NO to that hospital at the forums, whining and insulting afterwards doesn't really help anyone does it now?

I also would think its better to wait with the hospital. But there was a option to discuss on the forum AND on irc..

But this isnt neccesary, we have chosen a goverment, de can decide what they want without even asking our ideas.
So unless you have done your best to make your point clear in the debate, i dont think you have the right to talk dirty about thomas

SuBruo is correct and if you refuse to go to the places where this can be discussed(and don't even read the discussion as it will point out it was US, LSD who proposed it in the first place)that would be your loss and your loss alone. I agree with Peter. Let's make it a policy to get Q5 Hospitals in each of the 7 regions of the United Netherlands. Not overnight, but let's keep it in our long-term plans!

To place a Q5 in every region now would be a big waste of gold and resources. Its better to wait for more citizens which can defend the hospital

to be honest i'm curious how many people stay in brussels after placing the Q5 in walloon...

all BP members wanted the hospital in walloon when they started the game, and moved to brussels becouse there was made a Q5.
the reason for brussels was? more important becouse there can be more congress members whit that region...
and the more people in brussels the more chance to defend (more cost if they want to start an war)

why did this opinion change right now?

When we came to the game 3, 4 months ago we were something like 50-100 people. Now we are talking about 1000 people, that's a huge difference.

I agree on the fact that with about 100 people in Flanders, East and South, a hospital would be a waste of money there.

Why another hospital. We have 2 now and this sounds enough to me. We better invest in defence systems in case the eUSA attacks. Some gold in the national treasury is also not an bad idea.
