Waiting For War

Day 600, 18:26 Published in USA USA by Kara Zor El

I've been thinking about this upcoming world war with eager anticipation. Am I wrong to feel this way? The last time a major conflict took place for eUSA was Day 541. I was not yet a citizen of the eRep community. I've been reluctant to speak on matters I know little about. Fellow citizens are ready to shoot you down whenever you are wrong. So, what I do know is how I feel about things.

It seems to me that PEACE supporters look at this game like RISK. They believe they can just dominate the world through superior force. I recognize that this game doesn't promote that strategy as viable. It is fun, though, to see someone try and fail. I say, if you want to play RISK, I 'm sure you can find it online or buy the game.

I enjoy reading the propaganda. The articles contain one point of view, while the comments refute it.
It allows me both sides of the story. What I wonder is why the propaganda articles get over 900 votes and the pro eUSA articles can't compete. Are we that unorganized? Do we have our own propaganda machine? Their tactics are effective in this regard. Why can't we do better?

So, between the propaganda and the anticipation of war, I'm excited. I love it when they threaten us. They tell you when they're coming too. I love the responses to these threats. It makes the game more interesting. It gets the newbies asking questions. It stimulates the economy. It stimulates conversation.

I have heard so much about our MPP's. I've heard how formidable our defense will be because of them. We get a chance to see in action what has only been spoken of. We've never been attacked on homeland, I believe. We get to find out who's really on our side. We know that the eUK is definitely not.

The eUk had a choice. They could either be attacked and lose territory or rollover and give it up. They rolled over and, as a reward, received a Q5 hospital. That just burns my britches. I'd like to believe that we would come to their aid if they asked. Are they that spineless? Now they're a target.
I know there are people who want revenge.

I was thinking about the possibilities that exist. One possibility is that we may have some territory overtaken. This would give someone an opportunity to start a resistance war, would it not? Here in eUSA that option is not available to us. Am I wrong?

So I ask you, reader. Would you rather sit around, like usual, and wait for the next war game. Or do you treasure these moments of conflict and anticipation? Am I wrong to welcome world war? Am I naive to believe we can survive this? What do you think?
