Please vote no on impeachment. I assure you that this is the best choice we can make right now, even though I know it hurts. See the comments below. You will not lose any companies in Mindanao, since companies are tied to the Country now, not to region.

[This is old, but I'll keep it for posterity.]
Due to a very complex plan that I really cannot go over right now, Indonesia is going to take our region of Mindanao. If you live there and need a ride out of there, please send me a PM and I will send a ticket your way!
While it certainly is not cool that we are going to lose Mindanao, we will also not lose any more territories in our country, so we will live on without being conquered--Indonesia will respect the same for Malaysia.
I know we have not had good relations with Indo in the past, but I am working to change that as we now face the reality of being a subjugated power within their region of influence. In the next few days there will be several battles, so if you are trying to get the three-day achievements, now is the time! I have thought about this and this has been planned for a while, and it is what is best for the country at this point. If we did not go with giving Mindanao up, we would not have survived the onslaught.

First you give the ants a piece of cake than when they know how good it is they will want all the cake.It is foolish to believe that eIndo will satisfied with 1 region when they have the power to take all.

One thing you forgot is that the game mechanic will only aloud a country to attack a region that have border with it.May be now we don't have hello kitty or lionking anymore but remember this,there are plenty of small nations with resources that eIndo don't have or one of eIndo allies don't have.
eIndo can give access to anyone of its allies to form a land bridge.People doesn't attack a region just for its resources,to encircle your enemy is the most basic principal in war strategy to destroy your enemy.Learned from Hello Kitty.See how the EDEN finally manage to capture it after the region was surrounded by EDEN forces.
Never think what will happen in the next month or two,always think what will happen in 6 months or a year time.Phoenix always think that way,that is why they are so successful compare to EDEN.Remember,a single stone can cause a long continuous ripple on the water.

I would rather cultivate a good relationship with Indo by giving up a resource than be wiped and merged into their whole country.
What you seem to fail to recognize is that if Indo seriously wanted to take us out, in a way that you keep seeming to think they do, they could. Period. We only live by their willingness to keep us alive. We've had US/EDEN intervention before, and while it has freed us several times, in no way have they maintained a permanent presence. However, Indo is always here.

Reasonable. If fight with indo at this moment, your companies may be absorbed and never return or close down for a long period. No company owner wants to invest on unstable e-nation. Hopefully, your clam will be awarded.

Also, the runner-up is a PTO candidate. If people feel so strongly that the vote continues to rise up close I will become a holding-pattern President.

Diplomacy is not for everybody. It is about finding white in black and red in blue. People in ePhilippines, especially the true Filipinos would feel bad, to say the least. This is something expected of them. But what made things worse was the lack of transparency among the non-Congress members. The ordinary citizens never had a chance to grasp the whole situation or was offered a write-up which they can discern. I know Hekter is doing his best but at the very least explain the situation to the rest of the nation.
