Vote UKPP .... please

Day 2,803, 03:25 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Neil Lewis

It gives me great pleasure to announce the UK Progression Party's Congress List

So, how did I decide upon that list. Well, after those who expressed an interest put themselves forward*, we had a vote! The full membership were sent a link to a gdoc and asked to choose upto 7 candidates for Congress. To prevent electoral fraud, and any sharing of the voting form outside the UKPP, I sent each member an "password" from a list of 5-letter words, with the 2nd-letter an "a" .. cunning, eh?

Now, there wasn't supposed to be any electioneering to sway voters, but some people just can't help themselves:

And here's the raw data:

After plugging this into an Excel worksheet, the votes were counted and the voting preference can be revealed as:

The bottom 2 keep switching about on my screen .. sigh!

Now, I don't believe a PP should place themselves at the top of the Congress list, so I've moved myself to 7th. With 2 regions held, that means 30 Congress seats. With our usual strong polling, we should get 6 or 7 out of that!!

EDIT: Looks like I mis-read the wiki or the scrolling blurred it, and it's only 20 Congress seats .. not going to change my position on the list though.

So please vote for UKPP tomorrow, we have a strong, active team .. all the way down to the 12th man!

*I should note that ToniJR had messaged me to show intent, but had not clicked on the relevant page, so was included in the vote, whereas Malaclypse the Younger did the opposite and hence was not on the voting form.
