It has been quite a while since I have published anything. My computer died quite a while back and trying to write an article on my iPhone just doesn’t work very well. I found a computer to use for a bit so here goes…
As most of you are aware tomorrow is the vote for country president. We don’t have a button that says, “click here for who you want for dictator.” It is a vote for country president. That is what I want. That is what many of us want. A president, not a dictator.
This is the choice you have tomorrow. Gnilraps is running for president, not dictator. I have listened to all of the arguments for and against. I am not going to rehash them here. What I will do is throw my endorsement to a month without a dictator. I hope you do as well.
Gnil is going about this the right way. He easily could have gotten elected president had he run without mentioning his plans to do away with the DD for a month. He could have simply not mentioned it and then, once elected just surprised everyone with his plan. That isn’t what he is doing. He has very specifically spelled out his plan so that everyone knows exactly what they are voting for. If you elect Gnilraps we will have at least a month without a dictator. He has a good plan to keep us safe and maintain our bonuses.
None of this is being forced on anyone. That would have been dirty politics. This is as clean as politics get. You know exactly where he stands and if you want to try something different, help him do it. Lets give this a try folks. Instead of hiding behind a DD and sitting on our two-clicking a$$es, lets liven things up a bit. Maybe we can have a little fun and do something different.
I won’t ramble any more about this but rest assured that the victory party will be quite a bash. It will be held at the SFP offices and, as usual there will be plenty of refreshments of all kinds and of course I will whip up a batch of my delicious…

The legalist argument of an off-game 'Congress' dominated by elite players in pretend country in a fantasy world "outweighing" a popular referendum. The mind reels. I mean I _get_ the argument. I just don't get the _seriousness_ of it, if you see what I mean.

Regardless of all of this you are voting for something that wont happen unless basically he decides to go against Congress.
I would say getting elected means the masses have spoken and then yeah, I expect him and at least half the country to, "go against congress."

@BeachBunny: Leaving just because you disagree is rather disappointing. You were my first President, just when I was an e-child. The term was rather banal, and the issues hard, but I would expect a better attitude from a past President.
He is not "going against congress". He is simply refusing to accept the title of dictator, he is working with them on a level playing field as a President, as dictated in the Constitution, NOT as a dictator.
