Vindication is in the Cards

Adam Griffin wrote an article entitled Why PEACE will ultimately fail in his newspaper “My Sharpened Tongue.”

This was my response:

You're ASSuming things Adam. This is another in a long string of arrogant ASSumptions. Remember there is no god in eRepublik, so you can't hope for the best. You have to bring it.

Obviously, you're likening PEACE to the realities of their RL counterparts: small, harmless nations, some of which are former Soviet blocs, some of which have huge gypsy populations. The problem is that it isn't like that in eRepublik.

In eRepublik the United States is clearly the old tank with new paint. You're losing because your leadership sucks. And, one thing you seem to be overlooking is that you're also losing high-quality hospitals and defense systems all over the place. You've got four nations coming at you from all angles and you're overwhelmed. These fights can just keep being instigated; essentially every six hours. And, all you can do is watch.

Then a United States military lackey by the name of NXNW decided to weigh in where he didn’t belong. This is the full back-and-forth. By the way, I've never frequented an article so much without voting it up.

NXNW: Dude, you were in the eUSA Congress & Army until you were busted for selling info to PEACE. I expect a traitor like you to predict doom and gloom as that is the only way you'll be able to return to the eUSA. But nice try. 🙂


Longbaugh: I never sold anything to anyone. I never gave away anything to anyone. And, YOU have absolutely Z-E-R-O proof to such a claim. I challenge you to prove me wrong.

You've succumbed to rumors spread by the very people responsible for your country's downfall. The truth is that Emerick might have been a PEACE spy all along as he was in the Japanese congress when scrabman was president. Isn't Japan a PEACE nation?

Using insults completely invalidates your position. The fact is you were Dishonorably Discharged from the 5th Division of the eUSA Army and I do indeed have proof of this as it occurred AFTER you defected to eIndonesia.

I was dishonorably discharged because I had to remind Robert Loggia THREE TIMES that he should discharge me. I was still getting battle orders after I made it well known I wasn't an American citizen anymore (a tip of the hat to the diligence of the eUS military). Also, I didn't defect to Indonesia, I defected to Ireland. Do your homework.

Post what you have. C'mon, give it to me.

Don't get upset at me for getting nasty with someone who lies about me. You LIED that you had evidence I committed treason... just straight up LIED. Concurrently, I've never lied about myself, nor have I ever lied about any of my dealings, nor have I ever lied about anyone else. I've exposed every nook and cranny of my eRepublik past in my newspaper for everyone to see. And, I did so to defend myself against LIARS like you. I also left the United States to get away from LIARS like you.

I took you to task and you FAILED. Like I said before, until you present the evidence you said you had, you're a liar. It really doesn't get any more simple than that.

And you were not Dishonorably Discharged from the eArmy because of politics, but rather for your treason. Sadly I cannot divulge CIS methods, I'm sure your new buddies would love that.

Now, I want you to notice how I actually respond to your questions instead of prancing around the issue as has been done to me whenever I ask similarly simple, yet poignant questions to your allies...

Yes, I was Dishonorably Discharged from the U.S. Army. My discharge was dishonorable because of my actions. I did move to Indonesia to fight and gain XP for this war and I have fought against the United States many times since (most notably in Utah and California). However, make no mistake, I was only discharged because I had the integrity to mention to Robert Loggia on THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS that I was now officially PEACE. Had I never bothered to PM Robert Loggia I would still be getting secret battle orders. I was discharged because it was the right thing to do for both myself and the U.S. Army.

The issues of treason and politics don't come into play when I go out of my way to remind inept military superiors THREE SEPARATE TIMES that they're sending vital info to the enemy. Had I not PM'd Robert Loggia as much as I did he would, in effect, be acting as a PEACE spy.

So, to answer your question: FALSE

I left the United States because of politics. Seeing as how a foreign citizen cannot commit treason against the United States, I never committed treason. I was Dishonorably Discharged because I had the personal Honor to remind Robert Loggia that he was effectively sending battle orders to the enemy.
