Beste burgers der eNederlanden,

Ik had vanavond een artikel met mijn plannen voor de komende maand willen publiceren, maar ik ben de hele avond bezig geweest vragen van newbies te beantwoorden op de ingame mentor chat. En dat is belangrijk! Nieuwe spelers zijn onze Toekomst! Zonder nieuwe spelers zal het ons nooit lukken ons van het Poolse juk te bevrijden. Daarom wil ik deze komende maand vooral focussen op Coaching. We hebben ‘n aardige baby boom gehad, en nu is het zaak om zoveel mogelijk van deze spelers vast te houden, ze te onderwijzen en ze te trainen.

Ik wil actief inzetten op een coaching plan, waarbinnen we mensen het gevoel geven dat ze een rol van betekenis kunnen spelen voor ons mooie land. Op dit moment is de GPN Taskforce Coaching druk bezig met het ontwerpen van een volledig nieuw programma toegespitst op de nieuwe speler.

Het zou naïef zijn - juist nu we geen eigen regio’s hebben - de waarde niet in te zien van contests, fundraisers, fun topics op forum en artikelen die onze community actief houden. We kunnen hier om begrijpelijke redenen echter geen budget voor vrijmaken en willen ook de huidige ministeries hier niet mee belasten. Wij zien het liefst dat deze initiatieven uit de bevolking zelf komen, en om dat te stimuleren staan we ervoor open hier een overheidsfunctie voor in het leven te roepen. Maar de echte fun? Die komt pas terug als we weer voldoende in kas hebben om wat te bereiken. Laten we met zijn allen nu de strategische uitdaging aangaan om creatief mee te denken over onze opties, en ook de nieuwe spelers hierin te betrekken. Er ligt werk genoeg - en iedereen heeft zijn eigen kwaliteiten om bij te dragen aan ons mooie eNederland.



Ik zal geen officiele ideenbus of ‘n vragenuurtje op irc gaan invoeren. Waarom niet? Omdat dat allang gebeurt; ik krijg elke dag meerdere PMs van spelers die me vragen stellen, en deze beantwoord ik altijd, en zo snel mogelijk. Ook kan iedereen me op irc benaderen, als ik online ben natuurlijk, wat best vaak is.

Dear citizens of the eNetherlands,

Ik was planning to publish an article about my plans, last night, but all night I was busy answering newbies on the ingame mentor chat. Which is important! New players are our future! Without new players we will never succeed in liberating ourselves from the Polish occupation. That is why I want to focus on Coaching this month. We have seen a nice baby boom, the job at hand now is to keep as many of these new players on board, to teach them and to train them.

Ik want to actively focus on a coaching plan, in which people feel they can play of role of meaning to our beautiful country. At the moment, the GPN Taskforce Coaching is working hard on the development of a completely new program aimed at the beginning player.

It would be naive - now that we do not possess any of our own regions - to not see the added value of contests, fundraisers, fun topics on forum and articles that keep our community alive. For understandable reasons we cannot spend budget on this and we do not want to burden our current ministries with it. We hope to see many new civilian initiatives, and to stimulate this we are open to the idea to create a new government position for this. But the real fun? That will only return after we have enough budget to really achieve something in the battlefield. Let us all together take on this strategic challenge to think along creatively about or options, while involving new players in the process. There is plenty of work - and everyone has his own qualities to contribute to our beautiful eNetherlands.



I will not start an official ideabox nor introduce a question hour on irc. Why not? Because this is already happening; every day I get several PMs from players asking me questions, and I always answer them, as soon as possible. Also, everyone can approach me on irc whenever I am online, which is frankly quite a lot.
