V1 co-founder message
Dear Citizens,
We want to apologize for the issues that have affected some of you during the transfer of the database from beta to V1. Transferring 35,000 people and their full history and inventory is not easy but we should have done better.
Regarding the fact that the site has been unstable during this first day of the V1 pre-launch, this was due to some setting issues on our new super servers. They are still super we just need to set them up better (we thought we had it covered but we clearly did not), you should have already seen an improvement by now. The site is still quite slow and we are going to continue working on this.
Regarding the bugs, the bad news you know there quite a few more than we would have liked, the good news is that in V1 we can fix them much quicker than in the beta.
Finally regarding new features such as the trivia, battle system etc.. we know they have issues and need some serious improvements and in certain cases in depth modifications. We will be working on this as a matter of priority.
Again the good news on this is that we can make changes much faster with the V1 architecture.
Most of us haven't slept more than a few hours over the past week so that we could get V1 to pre-launch on time, we thank you for the positive feedback regarding some of the changes and we also than you for the negative feedback regarding others, we know that you do it because you care and we will do all we can not to let you down.

I didn't read a single word about the thousands of GRDs hacked-robbed from greek accounts and transferred to Turkey's accounts. Are you going to do something about this? Because I have no reason playing this game waiting for a Turk to hack-rob me.

The new feature such as trivia is unnecessary, and the question is useless because a lot of people can not answer your question, that too general and you can imagine if you come from Brazil and than you get question about history in Indonesia, Can you give the right answer? So remove the trivia or we all will go from this game. A lot of people right now feel that they can not enjoy with this game again, so U have to consider it a lot.

@mamylo: Thanks for these, we've put all of them in our 'to do list' which includes everything that must be checked and fixed. Depending on the priority of a certain issue it depends if it is going to be fixed in the next couple of days or later.

I had an house in erepublik normal but in v1 i don't see my house ?
@emilas93 and Jas: How many inventory slots do you have? 10 or 50?
Any informations about when the bug with sold items and no money will be solve?
The negative production kind of messes up the market... One guy actually produced -150 in a housing company and in weapons I just saw a company with -116/5 weapons in production.
This kind of bugs is far more critical than the annoying spaces (which I reported in the v1-Beta) so I hope you get your priorities right.

at Cristi: I lost all my inventory (including house Q3) and I have only 10 slots
you should also check the lists (the human resources, online users etc): you can set the filters but when you want to go to the second page of the list the filter is canceled (eg: human resources list -> set filter to "Land" -> works! and you get only the offers from wood, iron, oil, etc. -> go to page 2 -> you get all the domains)
I had a q4 house in beta but somehow i dont manage to have it here in v1.

I, and 95% of the other testers on V1-beta told you to hold it back. Even if the people not on it wanted it out as fast as possible, I know that they'd rather have a working V1 then this.
I'm glad that you can change in the code easier, but you should have done this while we where on the V1-beta.

Well, maybe the most important one of the bugs is that when companys sold their products they don't get money out of it. Many SO's are getting bankrupted because most of the money was in the products.

@Flammbar: The V1 testing phase helped us a lot as we manage to fix some critical stuff before the launch. Now fine-tuning and solving the rest of the bugs is our main priority. Everybody in the office is now on fast-forward mode. Why is the text mashed up like that anyway? To avoid long words without spaces that will mess up the layout.

actually i love the trivia thing, but i didn't love the questions, too hard for us... please make it more easier..
The inventory issue will soon be fixed. Looks like the citizens that have problem with their product transfers is because they had only 10 inventory slots in V1. (correct me if I'm wrong - does anyone of you have 50 inventory slots and had problem with the inventory?)

The new version looks better and the functionalitys has improved, so it's ok unitll now.
The part that makes me mad is that there are people who spent a good amount of real life money to obtain gold in game, gold that could very well have been used to fill up their inventory, which is now gone. How does Erepublik plan to deal with this?

We have the db from beta, we've discovered what is the source of this problem and two devs are working on it. It should be fix today if other issues don't occur.

Well, I Have 50 slots and I've lost all my inventory. I didn't have much, just some q4 food, some q2 food and some q1 food...

Good to hear that bugs are worked upon.
@Driver: The inventory migration, which btw it was a huge task had its issues. Most of the citizens received their products, but there are some of them who had problems with the transfer. This might create a waterfall effect just like the one described by you and believe me, we want to avoid this as much as possible.

Yes, I have the same problem as others have expressed concern over things that they have purchased in the last version, but it does not show up here. It's just good to know ya'll are working on it.

Kind of disappointed to be honest, but I shall keep my head high with hope, I have faith in you guys to rectify this situation. Anyway, on to the grips.
Financial information: Where did it go? Will it be back? Some of the larger corporations need this information!
Worker presence: Where did it go? Will it be back? I know you've added in a "last logged in" section, but I'd like to see if employees have been around all week, as we have a certain pay bonus revolving around it. Oh and also, it tells me employees haven't been here for 2 days, even when I know some have, or if they've just started work here.
Search Button: Why was it changed to citizens only? Will it be reversed? I think I speak for a lot of people when I say I used the search button a lot, and a lot of the time it wasn't to find people and there isn't an alternative way of doing this so... it's a little annoying.
I had made a thread about this in the forums but feel free to delete it if you answer it here. How high up is converting SO's to Orgs on your list of things to do? I think quite a few of us are basically just waiting for this to happen before we can actually set up certain companies. I wouldn't mind paying the 5g to make new ones but the SO's already occupy the names I wanted >.<
Not sure there's anything else to mention that hasn't been already, I would like to say though, if there is a simple fix I can do myself to one of my above comments I apologise but V1 is a little hard to navigate and rather in-depth A lot more buttons than there used to be, kinda thing

my inventory capacity are 50 but, all of my inventory is lost. and i have another problem with my wellness. yesterday I bought some food but this day my wellness are not increasing. is it bug or what?
I agree about some of the comments about trivia, it does add some more playability, however a lot of the questions younger people like myself aren't going to know, including some of the geography questions. So in that respect it doesn't make it entirely fair.
The layout takes quite a bit of getting used to also but so far I haven't seen any bugs, the only ones I did see were links that didn't work but that's fixed allready.
Just one question, when's the stock market expected to be introduced? which i've been hearing so much about.

Only one advice: In Spain, France, Portugal... we implore written accents, please! And in Spain also we need the letter "ñ". This is a serious basic mistake that should be solved in a short period of time.

Why can't you just create a poll for all eCitizens and make reference to the voting on the main page, so WE could make a decision whether we need trivia, current battle system or not.
I dont car about other stuff in my inventory, but at least give back my dissapired q4 house.

hey cristi, can you please have a look at the regional productivities in Brazil? They do not match the googledoc you released preV1. Especially SouthEats region should have high diamonds and high iron yet it has neither of those resources when you try and create a company.

it`s not my problem that u can`t set up a server... you are paid for this so u should do your work properly. Some people pay good money to play this game and you have to do better than that, not just appologize but work it once and for all.

There is a space in the spreadsheet's link that should be eliminated... Brazil's regions are from lines 146 to 150, btw (because countries are not explicitly written anymore).
As for the inventory problem, come on people, they already said they're working on it and still, probably more than half the comments here are about that.... let's just be patient
My inventory is gone, I had a home, food, gifts. Didn't know why my wellness was decreasing.
@Ery Wijaya: what's wrong with the trivia? without it, or with 0 correct answers out of 5, you still get the normall amount of skill.
The trivia is just a bonus. I know the questions are difficult, but there's nothing u lose, is just something the admins offer u as a bonus.
U don't have to threaten them that you're gonna leave, because if u think like this, u can go and play something that just needs a click.
