USA is going after Serbia - what should [ex]EDEN do?

Day 2,015, 02:05 Published in China China by mihail.cazacu

At the time of writing this article the American NE law against Serbia is about to pass.

That would finally put CoT and TWO on a direct collision course. I'm quite skeptical that the rest of CoT is thrilled by the fact the Americans dragged them into a direct confrontation at this particular point in time. But hey, that's the price of not knowing the difference between having an MPP with the USA and being in the same alliance with the USA.

The Americans are very valuable as MPP, especially for those countries on other time zones. Unlike say Poland and Serbia, they do honor their MPPs even when they are under direct attack themselves. And they pack a lot of firepower. So having an American MPP is always useful.

On the other hand having the Americans full members of one's alliance is asking for trouble. Lots of trouble! The Americans love to do their own thing, no matter the consequences for their allies.

It was expected that once the Americans go after Serbia, Poland would also panic. Americans would fight the Serbs in France, right next to the Polish colonies. The Polish leaders correctly assumed their turn is next. So they and the Serbs did what they do best: in order to protect their precious colonies they went begging for the Chilean MPP. And got rejected.

This is very good news for the major ex-EDEN countries: Argentina, China, Colombia, Croatia, Greece, Romania and Turkey (listed in alphabetical order so nobody gets offended).

However any opportunity needs to be handled properly.

What I would do if I were in the shoes of the presidents of the major ex-EDEN countries:

1) I would convene a conference with the goal of synchronizing our military and diplomatic actions;

2) I would put all the weight of the group into forcing Serbia to relinquish the Croatian original provinces and to sign an "eternal NAP", in exchange for our group's support against CoT. There might be Serbian objections to the US-Croatian MPP but even the Stone-Age Serbian diplomacy can understand a NAP is much better than fighting on several fronts;

In the mean time it would also help if some of the ex-EDEN countries grow a spine. Greece standing by her long-term friendship with Turkey is a perfect example of how Serbian demands should be handled.

As long as the Serbs help the ex-EDEN in battles, they deserve receiving help in return. But they have zero saying in who should ex-EDEN be allied with. Quite likely Serbia and Poland would start realizing the error of their ways, with a little bit of American help. They begged Chile, they can and will beg everybody else.

So as soon as Serbia and Croatia can get to that NAP the full set set of core EDEN MPPs among Argentina, China, Colombia, Croatia, Greece, Romania and Turkey should be restored.

On long term the eWorld would return to being bi-polar. It is therefore important that the core EDEN countries are the ones who form that pole instead of being attracted to one formed by others.
