Asturias is lost. With 4 hours to go the wall stands at - 175.000 / 158.250 This means Fortis and Eden would need to out-damage PEACE by 333.000 damage in the last 4 hours. It will not happen. Asturias is lost.
The USA now wants to hold the last 2 high resource regions it has. Who could blame them. PEACE wil take both regions, I have no doubt about this.
Russia can still attack 2 more regions and after that it will have no border with the USA and that front will close.
By the way Virginia has a border with Asturias so the USA could attack France without triggering further MPP's but has no real chance as France has activated MPP's with Indonesia, and Iran against the USA.

Central Greece and Asturia are the last high iron region in E/F countries.C.Greece is not under attack right now but Asturia is.And thanks to your DoD and lacking of US support in that battle we are on brink to loose that HIGH IRON region!!!

Zoli, well I have to give you that even if USA defended Asturias, it would fall to PEACE anyhow most probably. Especially taking into account the +/- 16k gold. Still it's a shame that they didn't even try.

Before making wisecracks about letting our allies down, you should be aware that we always discuss with our allies before issuing any orders.
Decisions are reached in consensus.
Maybe you missed that PEACE got 16k gold for free yesterday and is ready to pour it all into Asturias.
Asturias was already lost when France attacked it yesterday - those of you who don't get that should try some logical reasoning for a change.
If you are not able to do that, maybe zoli is willing to do the maths for you 😣

Those 333k of damage of course only apply if PEACE would immediately stop fight and wouldn't be ready to poor in another 500k if needed, right? 😉
As I can see from outside, from the begining of this war, the USA is not compact (citizens-army), as it has to be in this situation of continous aggression.
The US army was only bright side in all this, but what's going on now ???

Lucius Varenus you are right. Asturias was lost when France attacked it. In fact it was lost when Spain stopped blocking France and allowed France to go on the counter offensive. PEACE was ready to take Asturias without that 16K Gold and knowing that Spain would spend 16K to stop it.
I hope the money will not be used in the current war. I would rather spend it on the following 4 actions in order of importance
1. Give 20 GOLD to companies who want to upgrade from Q1 to Q2
2. Walk through Croatia
3. Put back the Italian economy on its feet
4. Help Turkey get back Central Greece
This battle in Asturias will be won without any tanking. What BattalGazi did, he did it on his own expense. Yesterday Hungary did not give a single gold for anybody to tank in Asturias. Even the elite unit members received only 1 (one) Q4 weapon to fight.
It's better to die upon your feet than to live upon your knees!
I would have rather seen an epic battle for Asturias, where Spain would have went all out with their 16k of gold, than the current situation - but it's live and learn.. even in eRep 🙂

Seriously, this is not cool, why not at least try to fight where the hammer hits the hardest and help one of eUSA's biggest allies by fighting in Asturias?
Lucius Varenus, I understand that it's impossible to defend Asturias. But that if that's the case then defending your two regions is impossible, too. Well, the lack of Hungary on the North American front gives you some minor chances but PEACE can easily beat down Asturias with the Hungarians' damage then and allocate most of the rest against the USA.
Have a little faith people, our economy is in the drain and with every region we lose it sinks a little further. Food costs $1.06 and minimum wage is $1. We need to keep as many high regions as we can. Is a high iron region important? yes, but if we sacrifice our high regions for this one we will have no new players staying b/c they can't afford food, weapons, moving tickets, nothing! New players stop critisizing and evaluate the situation we're in.
the cheapest q1 food on the romanian market is currently 1.17 RON and minimum wage is 1 RON, your point is ?
What so many fail to realize is that citizen orders and military orders are not necessarily the same ... and I'll leave it at that. Half the problem we have right now is that regardless of any orders, too many people are fighting wherever *they* think is best which basically kills any concerted effort; see above comments for exactly this type of thinking.
Battle for DC was proof that US citizen doesn't care for a wide view of situation.You spend many gold trying to defend region that has not value just because it was capital city instead support fight in two other.What comes from that .3 lost region.

Djazheer, by giving giving official orders to *not* fight in Asturia, a large amount of damage (in the hundreds of thousands) is diverted away from it. That damage could just as well prove to be deciding to the battle for a HIGH IRON region in an allied country.

Ok would the people that keep critisizing the orders read previous posts. These orders are communicated to our allies before being posted and Asturia would still have been lost even with American help PEACE just got 16000k gold to use on tanking.

I dunno I think that the reasoning of not helping Asturias just because the enemy will use 16k gold to make sure they get Asturias is silly. That's a good thing, sure they will spend there gold and win but atleast we made them spend the gold, until there forced to use it there going to continue to have it....
