Unity, what is it good for?

Unity! What is it really though? Well, if you stroll around looking for articles you find your typical mix of blah followed by some more blah. I feel like every article talks about singing Kumbaya, supporting one another and being friendly to our newbs.

While this has some merits…it’s frankly boring as hell. Meanwhile, I see parties squabbling over bs like who elected more Congressmen, or who has the most elected Country Presidents, or even who has the best newb-friendly programs for education and supplies. I ask you today why does any of that matter?

You want to truly know what Unity means? You want to know why Unity exists in the eUSA?

So I ask you to support Unity and keep working on the process, not so we can all feel warm and fuzzy, or prove we are more patriotic than some other guy, but because we love to see RGR rage and whine when he's failed yet again.

Hey more rah rah stuff. al-Qaeda is the problem, wire taps the solution.

A whole generation of gamers now has known nothing else but Unity. And it made sense for a few months. But adding to the destruction of the political mod via Unity has caused, and will continue to cause, more harm than RGR would even if he WERE to win the Presidency. Fear is the enemy of democracy.

But high faluting slogans aside, this is a game. For fun and entertainment. Unity ads to the boring.

And, although this has been debated and discussed to death here and elsewhere, AJay isn't quiting. Ever. Almost everyone of significance playing today will be gone before AJay. Think about it, and think about him.

So for how long will you continue this Unity? Really? This is no longer an emergency measure. This is normal. And it's a horrible political change.

I can't offer some secret solution to the problem. But neither can I ever get on board and say Unity is the best resolution we can devise.

Most people would say Unity is a necessary evil. Isn't that the company line?

Let us never forget the evil part.

The AFA got lucky if you ask me. I think if it weren't for party line voting, they wouldn't have gotten enough congressman to inflate the party like they did.
