UNITED WE WILL STAND

My dear Swiss fellows,

Now that France is defeated and on the verge of disappearing, the French are feeling what we felt deep inside of us some long months ago because of their invasion on the neutral soil of our beloved country.
The long french occupation had devastating effect on the native Swiss populations. Dear friends like Frans Von Echtler and Klaus Von Richtover decided to leave the game, some adopted Swiss like CharlesM also gave up and we hope they all will join us back. The birth deficit has been huge as no Swiss players found the William Tell’s motherland on a eRepublik map.
Our ol’ Swiss fellows decided to join the Swiss parties but most emigrated to ignore those arrogant frogs.
It was the time to adopt new Swiss from all nationalities, most of them were proud liberty fighters, some real modern Minute Men. We thought some others had no good intention and instead a lot of ambition, eventually most of them just commited mistakes thinking the French government would easily set us free as long as we would be its obedient dominion.

But now the time of the Swiss quarrels is over.
We all how the French despised us and this feeling got muted into real hate and violence towards us.
Yes we had a plot to conqueer total sovereignity over our soil and we had a champion who invested much of his time and money for independence. Billy Bob Joe launched a resistance war, the one that put an end to the French occupation. Billy Bob Joe had enough friends in foreign government to inform on the dire situation we were undergoing in France.

So the Day D occurred from the inside, first the Swiss resistance, then our Spanish friends came to the rescue followed by the American, the British, the Swedish and the Canadian troops. Doesn’t it ring a bell ? The liberty bell of course.

We must be thankful and show them that united we will stand to build a New Switzerland, in that scheme we will need everyone whatever our creed. We will forget all the bad words, the bad names, the quarrels, and I must confess I also did participate in those verbal fights.
Let’s erase it, because now we will have to face French hostility and their desire they confess on forums to destroy our economy with all their Swiss francs.
Together we will have to make a “national union government” and maybe change our currency, anyway we have to find solution altogether to make Switzerland a land of the free in a sound economy.
