UKPP Taken Over - Read All About It

Dear UKPP Members,
The Royal Dental Corps Military Unit seems to be involved in a take over of the UKPP. I noticed this whilst looking at the congress list for tomorrows congress election. Note that the only noble decision mwcerberus took was to have Abrantes in 8th position.
Our new Party President mwcerberus has been offering places in congress to members of the Dental Corps in backhanded deals... even DC member WayneKerr has been writing his own list of desired congress members and handing it to mwcerberus. This is not very democratic.
When asked why only DC members were given seats, mwcerberus responded by saying that only DC members messaged him showing interest in congress... yet as the above screenshot shows (taken in the DC MU Feed) the Party President only asked DC members. He didn't bother asking UKPP members in the UKPP Feed!
Not only is mwcerberus being unfair in his congress selection, he's also chosen Invalidation and Prof-Moriarty (long time anti-UKPP and only recently joined us). Not only this, but mwcerberus said he gave Prof. Moriarty a congress slot based on his spoof congress manifesto article. Quite ridiculous.
The below screenshot, again from DC feed, seems to show the insider trading of congress slots for medals, not for helping to run the eUK under a UKPP banner.
On top of all this, DC members are intent on changing The UKPP's name for some sinister reason.
Anyway, I may be looking too deeply into this.. but the fact still remains that mwcerberus has made a very bad choice in his congress selection for this term.

He has been hiding his party for a while now. You have lost it if you think you have recruited one of the most hardcore TUP players to UKPP.

Everyone knows he's connected to TUP, but who cares. Most in UKPP people don't give a toss about TUP, UKRP, ESO or NE...
I would guess that UKPP members give a toss about giving their congress votes to UKPP members and not your biggest rival.

Well the best way to stop New Era getting UKPP votes and members is to give your Congress Seats to UKPP members and not TUP members.
We are actually running Spamican and ESO in order to gain a few extra votes. UKPP members have always been free to choose who they vote for...
ESO are enough for 3-4 seats, but Spamicans do not have enough for a single Congressman - so you'd put them in your last or last+1 reasonable spot. Not 4th!
WRP had less then 10 active members when we ran them in a guaranteed seat. ESO from what I gather this month haven't seemed to really have any intention to run for congress. Prof M, took the initiative and was therefore given a seat... Had ESO bothered to apply themselves this election I imagine Spamicans would have been pushed out in favour of a few more ESOers

you say i didn't advertise but once i'd received 9 applications why bother i have 9 good candidates and if anyone else had applied they would have been considered just as much as anyone else just like Abrantes

look around, every party has given up seats in order to attract a few outside votes... It seems to be the done thing lately!

Completely gloss over the past 3 months, try to ruin your party's credibility on election day and, rather than try to do anything about it, run away to a different country and try to take as many with you!
or...if you really care about the UKPP and eUK then stick around and do something about it rather than try to inflict damage because circumstances don't quite suit you.
is it so important to butt into another party internal conflicts or you simply get bored with your own party of 14 members? In that case, please, feel free to join UKPP and help us!
On the other hand, this article is classic Sir Nick complaining about how life is unfair to the wider public in the anticipation other people will say "Poor Sir Nick" and condemn the other person. Of course, this rarely actually happens. Unfortunately, since Sir Nick has chucked our 'dirty laundry' out in public rather than arrange an IRC meet to discuss this, then other parties are going to see this and comment.
Chaz is spot on with his assessment. You know full well UKPP ran better when certain members took the lead LM... Come join your brethren in DC...

mwcerberus has made the classic UKPP mistake in not realising that the UKPP is Sir Nick's personal party and that unless you ask him for permission then your actions aren't valid. Even at times there has been a general vote on something, if Sir Nick doesn't get his say then he accuses the person who did the vote of not representing the party members...
The fact that Wayne Kerr has "a list" is not unusual in itself as most months he has a list and has been asked to keep track of things like activity etc in the past. I recall UKPP IRC meetings with you present where the criteria as to what order people's names should appear on the list have been discussed and the various weightings based upon activity, if they are a new player, if they haven't had the medal before (with discussions of if the person should donate some of the gold to the party)...
I think the fundamental difference at the moment is that the UKPP members who happen to be the most active at the moment are those who happen to also be in the DC unit.You certainly have been quiet recently....
Even Lady Macbeth II, has been relatively quiet for personal reasons lately...

1. PP (or his representative) must mass ballot the party before the congress asking if anyone is willing to run for congress.. Check Wiki and UKPP laws.
This is for the first time in about half a year that a PP didn't do that.. Dislike!
