UKDP is dead...I blame UKRP and the UKPP
Citizen 4945322
As the UKPP continues to rise, we see the slow demise of another. The UKDP, formally APP, formally something else etc is now on the downfall. One factor you could blame is the falling in UK population altogether, but, as I see it, it is the rise of the UKPP which has made this death possible. And why is the UKPP even a party? Because, some people got sick of the running and other members of the UKRP. So, now, instead of one party, we have two UKRP's. In real life it would never happen. Yet, on Erepublik, anything is possible, like non-Koreans living in North Korea.
The reason why I claim the UKPP and UKRP as the perpetrators is that, not only did UKDP lose its chance of congress, but also because the hints that UKPP is filled with multi's. Supposedly, at this rate, half of the UKPP will be the same person (That's you, Ajay). Also, if the UKPP members are so sick of the way the UKRP is being run, did they make this statement. As I know it, 63 members isn't a small outcry, it is a problem for the UKRP. Was there any appeals or investigations?
Another problem is the lack of regulations in the UKPP, as highlighted on the forums. A Mister Pipilibalik, who got into congress for UKPP, has been accused, and quite rightly, of being an EDEN supporter in a ONE country and trying his hardest to insult other ONE countries. For example, he recently proposed, in congress, that we attack Serbia. He then let an INCI member in using his powers as a congress member. As I hear it, he was allowed to run for UKPP in congress, even though he had major issues in Turkey (he had tried something of the sort there), and that UKPP did not back check him or stop him running.
Then, there is this whole charade involving former country president Kevy Kev Kev Junior Shabado, who was meant to act as a blocker and stop Pipilibalik running, or something like that. Instead, he blocked a more worthy candidate who should have run and made no difference altogether.
Another thing I would like to bring up is that, at the moment, Alfagrem (UKPP), is currently running for President under my own party, the UKDP. He has not joined our party, as he is still listed as a UKPP Party member, and this means that, as it stands, UKPP has two members running, being Alfagrem and BM Thatcher. Now, I like BM Thatcher, but this seems quite weird, and to make it even stranger he is backed by the UKRP, who also have a candidate running. This essentially means that between the two they have three candidates running, and that they are possibly in cahoots with each other. If this is true and not just a mistake or coincidence, this means that there is no need for two different parties, and that UKRP and UKPP should be joined.
Lastly, I would like to say that, if you are to vote anyone in this time round, stick to Thomas765 or mittekemuis. Not only is there less of a smokescreen around them, but also they are both worthy candidates. So, to sum up, the UKPP and UKRP are at fault because not only are they basically just the same party times two, but also because of people like Ajay.
I would like to say that, even though there is the fair share of people in the UKPP that I do not trust, there is some that I see as good people, for example their President Baroness Margaret Thatcher, Mini Munch, Matt Scazza and others. If you have to correct me on anything, just post a comment. I await your replies.
Strange, isn't it?

UKRP and UKPP are not the same party - indeed they are at logger-heads.
Also, The presidency thing is down to UKDP backing me when I was UKPP's candidate, this has now changed but without a PCP candidate - UKDP gets to run a candidate and they still have me selected.
If UKRP and UKPP are at such loggerheads,as you say, why have they supported you as a president, as your parties views will be implemented if you are president? That is what is unclear. Also, the fact that UKPP has two candidates is not good, as it gives them a tactical advantage over every other party.
Or, alternatively, it's UKDP's fault for not trying hard enough.
No, we tried, got two members into congress, had the most active members percentage wise (as worked out by Joshua Whelan) but in the end, lots of people left after UKPP took over us, who were basically started as the UKRP without Appleby and co.
Your party names are ridiculously confusing.
The UKPP did not take over anyone. When we were at 20 members we contacted the UKDP leadership and asked them if they'd be interested in a merge. They showed interest but fell silent for a week. I then re-contacted them after hearing they were going through a rough spot and they refused a merge. This is when we had 60 members. I told them we would eventually take position 5 away from them and that it would be ideal to merge as we both support similar things.
As for the presidential elections, I have no clue what the hell is going on there, and I suspect the admins will have to look into it. It is not an advantage to have 2 candidates as it will end up splitting our votes.
As for a conspiracy, there is no conspiracy. The current UKPP ideals were there before UKRP split and partially merged with us.
A final decision will be made on our Presidential Candidate soon.
These parties always sprout up whenever Alfagrem gets bored or Sir Nick decides that he wants to be active enough to annoy people again.
It has happened before, it will happen again.
It is shocking that UKRP is backing BMThatcher. Seems to be chaos over there?
dish is running CP afaik so UKRP will soon not be supporting alfagrem
