TWO Statistics - Goldmine

Day 1,964, 14:45 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Thomas765

Hello there,
It's been a few days since the goldmine event had finished, with the victors being awarded for their regional areas - Americas, Africa, Asia, Europe and Oceania.

The main reason for this article was so I could practice making an infographic, so as such I will analyse how successful TWO was in the competition.

Given that TWO is a European alliance, the core members only had the chance to try and obtain the only European goldmine. When the competition began, there was a sort of guarantee that at least either Serbia or Poland would end up obtaining the European one, which they did. To put their 73 billion damage in comparison to other alliances in the worl😛

USA was not included as their damage is frequently thrown around battlefields for and against allies - military instability and only being a trial member of CoT.

The impact of the competition on TWO is quite minimal. Thanks to the airstrike feature, TWO has been able to acquire a second goldmine from the winners of the Asian division - Turkey. The other three winners of the competition were Australia, South Africa and the USA. Of the three of them, two have been obtained by Chile and Brazil, which means that zero countries from the pro-EDEN bloc have control of a goldmine.

What the results of the citizenship damage tell us is nothing really. Ultimately, what it shows was how powerful certain countries were during the week long period of the competition and cannot really be used as structured statistics in a month's time. What is shows in the short term is that TWO is the most powerful alliance right now alongside our brothers in ACT, surpassing the damage of EDEN and dwarfing the damage of CoT, CUA and Asgard on a weekly basis. However, the competition between each alliance would be slightly minimal on a daily basis. What it also shows is that for TWO to take advantage of this, damage needs to be coordinated better than it currently is. For an alliance to be as powerful as it is, most battles should be won with ease, much like how EDEN dominated the scene in January and February 2012, something of which TWO and CoT have been unable to accomplish - their level of destruction. In February 2012, up to 17 pro-ONE nations were left without a congress. Compared to right now, the damage gap between EDEN and CoT/TWO is significantly larger than the gap between EDEN and ONE/ABC/EPIC.

We shall see what the future holds.
