eRepublik Beginners Tutorial
Chapter One: Getting started

Welcome to the World of eRepublik!

Thank you for choosing the Netherlands to be your country. But, first things first, this country isn’t called the Netherlands anymore. Although it is called in game by this way, the people of this country prefer to call it the United Netherlands. You know why? Because the Netherlands and Belgium merged.
So don’t be surprised if you’re a Belgian who lives in the Netherlands.

If you start the game you’ll see 5 big buttons at the top of your screen.



1 = Home, this is the page where you currently are looking at. Here you can see the news, shout and the most important thing: see what new events there are.
2 = My places, this is the most important section from the game. Here you can see your profile, your job, the army from the country in which you live, the political party in which you’re in, your own newspaper, the organizations that you have and the country administrator. We will talk about My Places in the next article.
3 = Market, here you find all the markets on the game. The Marketplace, where you can buy all the products of the game, the Monetary Market, where you can trade with money, the Job Market, where you can look for a job, companies for sale and get Gold and extra’s.
4 = Info, here you can see all the statistics within the game. Like the rankings of players, parties, companies and countries. And the stats of your country social things (like population), economical, militarily stats and political stats. Tutorials can also be found here just like your career path.
5 = Community, here you can find the forum, the news, the wiki, the elections. Here you also can invite friends, watch the blog and go to the eRepublik Shop.

In the left corner of the screen you’ll find Plato. He gives you tips and quick links. In the right corner you’ll find the handful toy the Citizens Searcher.
At Home you can shout. Shout is a way to let your friends or the whole world know about something. You can shout whatever you want 
It’s also a quick way to see the news, categorized by “Top Rated”, “Latest” and “International”.


The first thing to need to do is finding a job. You can look at available jobs at Market and then at Job Market (3) in the picture. To join this company, just easily click at Apply. You’re now a worker in this company. You can now work by just simply clicking on Work.

You also need wellness . You will need wellness so that you won’t die. You get wellness from food (at Marketplace, 3) houses (at Marketplace, 3) or a hospital if you had a fight (at Social stats and then to your region, 4). If you bought quality 1 (one star) food you will get 1 WP (wellnesspoint) when the day switches. If you buy Q2 food, you’ll get 2 wellness etc. Be careful: working costs 3 WP, training 1 and fighting 10.

eRepublik is based on a experience system. You need experience (short way XP or EP) to get new options available. The first time you’ll work you’d get a job you received 5 XP. Now every time you work you’ll get 1 XP.
When you upload your avatar by going to your profile (My places, 2) you’ll get 2 experience points for the first time.
By this way, you are already in level 2. This means you have 8 XP (when the day switches you get 1 xp instantly if you have food what you’re character can eat). Now you can train etc.
