TUP Congress Update Week 2

Day 2,028, 15:31 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by alittlec4

Transparency is key at all levels of government and with this in mind The Unity Party feel that it is only fair to the citizens of the eUK who voted each and every one of us into Congress to know that the trust that they placed in us is not unfounded. This is the reason why we as a Party like to release an article roughly once a week detailing which laws that we have had to vote on and which way we as a party decided to vote through some discussion and deliberation (I must hasten to add that not all votes had a 100% agreement rate and each individual Congress member has full control over which way they decided to vote).

Since my last update Congress has had to vote on 4 law proposals, they are as follows

Law 1

Ukraine are moving towards TWO and we felt that by signing this MPP it would help us gain some early morning damage and foster new friendships and relations.

Law 2

As stated in my previous update The Unity Party feel that taxation is at an acceptable level at the minute and felt that changing taxes wasn't necessary.

Law 3

Ths was a rogue proposal and we as a party encouraged our members to downvote this proposal as at the time we were making overtures towards peace with Germany.

Law 4

Whilst this law is still in the process of being voted on we have made it clear to our Congress members to downvote this as it was in response to a rogue NE by Germany.

This ends our quick summary of a week in parliament and I hope that this enables you all to see that The Unity Party have your best interests in mind when we are playing a small part in deciding the future direction of our country.
