TUP Congress Update

Day 2,021, 14:26 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by alittlec4

Transparency is key at all levels of government and with this in mind The Unity Party feel that it is only fair to the citizens of the eUK who voted each and every one of us into Congress to know that the trust that they placed in us is not unfounded. This is the reason why we as a Party like to release an article roughly once a week detailing which laws that we have had to vote on and which way we as a party decided to vote through some discussion and deliberation (I must hasten to add that not all votes had a 100% agreement rate and each individual Congress member has full control over which way they decided to vote).

Since 1400 GMT on the 26th of May we have had to vote on 9 different law proposals, this article will give you a brief insight into the way TUP voted and how we as a Party think that this is a benefit to the country.

Law 1

As a party we believe that the current rates of tax are at a suitable level (for the time being but until more financial work is done by the party/MoF we do not wish to muck the taxes around) and also the Defense System is now an old relic from days gone past so we felt that there was no need to change this.

Law 2

Minimum wage is set low to benefit those who employ people on a commune basis for the betterment of our country as a whole, we as a Party felt that it was unnecessary to increase the minimum wage.

Law 3

As stated in my write up for Law 1 we as a party feel that tax levels are at an acceptable rate and felt no need to change this.

Law 4

As above

Law 5

This was a no brainer for us as we were coming to the help of our allies Lithuania who had been NE'd by Germany.

Law 6

Colombia are moving towards being Pro-TWO so as a party we felt that extending the hand of friendship and signing an MPP with them was a wise move as it allows us to get some much needed damage when C0T are in their primetime.

Law 7

This was another no brainer for us as Slovenia are along with us one of the founding members of the TWO alliance

Law 8

No, just plain NO.

Law 9

Once again this was to help our allies Lithuania as we are trying to get a border back with Germany so that we can go on the offensive against them.

This ends our quick summary of a week in parliament and I hope that this enables you all to see that The Unity Party have your best interests in mind when we are playing a small part in deciding the future direction of our country.
