***A TC HISTORY LESSON***
Hello there TC-Times Readers!
Today, I am going to give you a little history lesson about the United States Training Corps. All this information is gathered from multiple sources (Wiki, Persons, ETC) and I have compiled it into this article for your daily reading pleasure.
If you have never heard or even joined the training corps, read this article and see if it meets your fancy and JOIN THE TRAINING CORPS TODAY!!!
Early Stages of the Training Corps
The Training Corps started out as the 2nd division within the National Guard. We started out with our tiny division in late 2008 (Unknown Date). The 2nd Division of the national guard was disbanded sometime in May of 2009. Commanding/Executive Officers within this time period are unrecorded/unknown to eHistory. The only known Commanding/Executive Officers of what was known as the “Home Guard”, was General Lofteraptor/Lt. General Dczip and General Dczip/Lt. General Angelini When Angelini was promoted to General of the Home Guard after Dczip retired, she became the first general of the was it now, the United States Training Corps.
After the disbandment of the 2nd Division, National Guard, the division evolved into a single unit. The new name for this unit was the “United States Training Division”. The reason why it was only called a division is because it only consisted of one division. This division was held for recruits only. After recruits passed through the appropriate training, they were shipped off to other united of the JCS led military.
The United States Training Division transformed into what it is known as today, the United States Training Corps in October of 2009.
The “Right Now” USTC
The United States Training Corps, as it is today, consists of 3 divisions. The first division is responsible for the training of new recruits that have applied to the Training Corps. Our second division is known as our Logistics Division. This is where our Quartermasters distribute supplies to those trainees who fill out a necessary form. Finally, our 3rd division, our 3rd Division is now known as our Reserves. This is where trainees who have graduated from the 1st division are sent. When they are placed here, they have the choice of either being sent to one of the other branches or staying in the TC as an officer.
