To the Marines and the Military, Thank You

Day 1,237, 20:30 Published in USA USA by Kell Draygo

There comes a time when one has to make an extremely hard decision in their military career and I have to say that this decision I have made today is one of the hardest. It was with much regret and sadness that today, I resigned as Vice-Commandant and as a Marine. It was not a decision I made lightly and not without a lot of thought.

I will say that joining the military was the best decision I have made in my eRep life and it is one I am glad I had made. Everyone in the military, from the newest trainee to the veteran soldier, you are all an amazing group of people who have helped create one of the best communities in this game, do not let anyone else tell you otherwise.

To all the friends that I have made while going from the Training Corps, to the Mobile Infantry, and finally the Marines, I want you to thank you for the amazing experience that you were able to provide for me. I will never forget you and no matter what happens, no matter what is said about me, remember this, you will always have my respect and my friendship, this will never, ever change, no matter what anyone says. To the soldiers that I did not get a chance to meet, I am sure that you will learn quite a bit and enjoy your time here, do not forget that your peers around you are good people, I hope that you find the same enjoyment I have had.

Lastly, I want to say that the recent decisions were lead by me, the Vice-Commandant. My Senior Officers are hard working and intelligent people, who did an amazing job while working with me. It made my duty as the branch Executive Officer a lot easier and a lot more fun. I owe these guys a lot, the Marines owe them a lot. So please, any grief or anger that you wish drop on someone, that would be me, I made the final decision. I am sorry that it had to come to that but in the end, we are still fighting on the same side, for our country.

Thank you everyone and Semper Fi!

Looking forward,
Kell Draygo
Vice-Commandant, eUSMC
