To Foreign Companies-- Love, America
If you look in the food market, there is a bunch of foreign companies selling at a very low rate. It's happening in almost all the markets, in fact. But I happen to own a food company, so this affects me personally.
I received a message from one of those foreign companies' owner. She told me that she is willing to set prices at a given rate that we can meet. That way, we won't have to keep undercutting each other's business. She was polite about it and had good intentions.
She also had the upper hand. With exchange rates the way they are today, she can seller for much lower than I can and make a profit. If I become president, tomorrow the exchange rates will be different. She will no longer be able to sell at a price remotely close to mine.
So here's the message I sent back to her:
Okay, as I have said before, soon you will be losing money for each item you sell over here. If you are saying that you will sell at very low prices despite your loss, then you are making an enemy; I can understand why you would undercut my business to make a profit, but if you'll be bleeding money anyway, it just seems like an uncool thing to do.
That being said, soon the tides will be the other way; in a week or so, I will be able to sell to other countries for a profit. As you can see, I have quite a few people working for me and they produce a lot. If you insist on dropping your products over here after the exchange rates have changed, Romania will be my first target.
Nothing personal -- it's business and American companies are about to have the upper hand.

Price fixing is a very ridiculous idea especially in this game. You simply can not control the market by doing this and in the end you will be hurting yourself by going along with it. If the other company is to weak to make it because the prices are to low then they need to restructure there company and become more profitable. I for one say go ahead and price fix I will be taking advantage of your stupidity.
