To All TUP, UKRP, PCP & MDU Memebers

Day 365, 17:34 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Squiddy

Congress Elections are steadily drawing closer and closer. Usually this poses us no problems, but this month, this month it's different.

This month, we have a new Congressional Election Module. Yeah, that's right another new toy to play and discover bugs with!

What does this mean for your average Congressman Joe?

Well, read on to find out.

From now on, all congress members will be elected via the region they currently reside in, furthermore, only 2 people can represent their own party in any one region.

This means, that if you want to have the best possible chance of getting as many of your members into congress as you possibly can, then you must REGISTER TO YOUR PARTY'S FORUM!

By doing this, you can let people know of your intention to run for Congress, and plan out which region people will move to, in order to be a legitimate candidate.

To join your party's forums simply follow the below link.

Of course, you will need to register to the forums, before you are able to access this site, which you can do here: http://forum.erepublik.co.uk

As well as being expected to be involved with your party when running for Congress, you should also now write an election manifesto that explains to people why you would be a good Congressman/woman. It's up to you, your party and its leader to help you with this, so by registering to the party forums, you will also gain access to a lot of help, not only in writing manifesto's, but near enough anything you can think of that's eRepublik related.

Now, for my closing speech.

Whilst the entire point of an election is to promote democratic competition, I do believe that the word needs to be spread about what people need to do for these elections, whilst I know that the experienced members will have no problem with the new situation, it's the new ones I'm trying to help here; I would ask that if you belong to a political party then please, give this article a vote.

The more votes this article receives, the more people will read it and hopefully, the better our Congressional Elections will turn out to be, by having informed Congress Candidates, instead of people that just felt like showing up with no real aim, purpose or dedication.

Thank you all for reading.

Regards,

Squiddy - President of The Unity Party.
