Time to Vote!

Day 1,193, 00:32 Published in Belgium USA by MaryamQ

Hello, eBelgium and eFriends,

Normally, I would be publishing this article in the Res Belgica newspaper. I have done this for my party every month for several months, long before I became PP. This month is very different, however, and I feel the need for a larger readership, and I will tell you why.

Unless things change in the present battle for Flanders, eBelgium will have NO Congress this month - that's right, none. We will still have Wallonia, but because of the timing of the resistance war, there are no candidates there. All of our candidates are in Flanders since Brussels is occupied by eFrance, and if Flanders is lost again tomorrow, there will be no eBelgian Congress.

Why is this happening? Well, it started because eFrance wanted to please their new buddies at PANAM and block eSerbia from making a land swap with eUK, so they declared us, little eBelgium, who had always looked up to France as a friend, as their Natural Enemy. We were told that we would not be overrun, and that the war would end quickly. This has not happened. Instead, eFrance has apparently decided they enjoy playing cat and mouse with us, and the result is that we have been losing territories and regaining them for the last 2 weeks as fast as game mechanics will allow. The ironic thing about this is that it was all totally unnecessary, since eSerbia could just as easily go through eNL.

So now, you, the eBelgian citizens, may be disenfrachised so somebody else can get some lulz from trampling all over you. Nevertheless, I am going to ask you to vote while you can. Vote to show your solidarity. Vote for the candidate of your choice, but don't lie down and give up. We are small, but we are not cowards and we do not need to accept the bullying of people we thought were our friends. Another thing I ask of you, and that is that you come to the forum and find out what is going on and what you can do about it. When there are so few of us, every one of us counts. Even if we have no official Congress, we will be working together there for eBelgium and her citizens, and you can be part of that work.

I promised the Res Belgica candidates endorsements, and here they are. These are all people who want to work for you and for eBelgium in the coming month. In priority order, I recommen😛
Present members of Congress and long-time members of RB, Mike Wooldridge, Helviro, Jacob van Artevelde, and MaryamQ.

Experienced people who are not presently in Congress and are newer to RB, but would serve you very well, Chris Stanwick, Critically, and Daniel Trump.

A newer player who is hoping to get some experience, Billy Flanders.

I will not claim all of these people are better than all of the people in other parties, but I know most of them well enough to know you cannot go wrong by voting for them. If we retain Flanders, the people elected there will be your official voice for the entire next month, so vote, and vote wisely. Remember
